Abstract: A bib for use with a support surface includes a mounting portion and a collection portion. The mounting portion includes a bottom surface that is configured to grip the support surface when positioned thereon. The collection portion includes a pouch and hangs from the mounting portion. The mounting portion collects debris that would otherwise collect on the support surface. The collection portion, and especially the pouch of the collection portion, collects debris that would otherwise collect on clothing, on a chair, in a lap, on the floor, or at any other undesirable location. The pouch may be impermeable so that fluid is retained in the pouch. The mounting portion and the collection portion may be flexible such that the bib may be washable and foldable. The mounting portion may be weighted so as to secure the bib to the support surface.
