  • Publication number: 20210271719
Abstract: A method of generating a consolidated document is described. In some examples, the method comprises obtaining a plurality of documents, and identifying one or more portions that are different between the documents. One or more properties of the portions are adjusted to generate adjusted portions; a consolidated document is generated using the adjusted portions and the documents. In the consolidated document each of the documents documents is associated with a layer, and a composite layer is constructed layer from respective layers within the consolidated document.

  • Patent number: 9597898
Abstract: A printing device (200) and method for controlling the curing of ink are described. An example printing apparatus has a printing module (230) with at least one printhead for printing a swath of a printed image and a print controller (220) arranged to generate image and print control data for a plurality of swaths. A curing module (270) is arranged to receive, for each of the plurality of one or more swaths, image and print control data and to control, before a printed region of the print medium (250) corresponding to a particular one or more swaths arrives, one or more operating parameters of the curing module (270) based on data values within said image data and printing parameters within said print control data.

  • Patent number: 8485655
Abstract: An ink patch is printed on a swath of media, by an inkjet-printing mechanism of an inkjet-printing device. Printing the ink patch takes a first length of time. The ink patch printed on the swath is heated at a first temperature less than a second temperature specified for the first length of time the inkjet-printing mechanism takes to print the ink patch. A second length of time is waited. A total length of time the swath is heated is at least substantially equal to the first length of time plus the second length of time.

  • Patent number: 8430471
Abstract: A method for automated alignment adjustment of a printing head includes determining a current drop velocity for the printing head based on a cumulative amount of ink that was dispensed by the printing head. An alignment adjustment on the printing head is performed to compensate for a change in the drop velocity based on the current drop velocity. A computer readable medium containing executable instructions and a system are also described.
