Abstract: Secure updating of strong passwords in a composable system, includes: during deployment of the composable system, requesting, by a central controller in the composable system, device information from a device vendor, the device information specifying a number of expected devices for the composable system; checking, by the central controller, a number of discovered devices against the number of expected devices; only upon discovering all the expected devices, updating, by the central controller, a password for all the devices in the composable system; and upon discovering fewer than the total number of expected devices, halting, by the central controller, deployment of the composable system.

Abstract: Capturing data packets for analysis using a virtual machine including receiving, at an analyzer virtual machine, an encapsulated packet for analysis, wherein the encapsulated packet comprises a monitoring metadata header and a data packet with a data packet header; stripping the monitoring metadata header from the encapsulated packet to obtain a de-encapsulated packet comprising the data packet with the data packet header; and directing, based on the data packet header, the de-encapsulated packet to a virtual network interface associated with a packet capture application within the analyzer virtual machine.

According to one method, the method occurs at a testing platform. The method includes receiving, via a communications channel for exchanging messages between a first session initiation protocol (SIP) peer and a second SIP peer, a first message for triggering a bearer deletion procedure associated with a call between the first SIP peer and the second SIP peer. The method also includes in response to receiving the first message or a related message, triggering the bearer deletion procedure prior to changing an access technology.
