  • Patent number: 9005341
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a sealing device 20 for a control rod 17, passing through an aperture 15c in a wall 15, wherein the control rod 17 is connected between an actuator 13, placed on one side of the wall, and a controlled entity 9a, placed on the other side of the wall, such that the actuator can control the controlled entity with motion of the control rod. The sealing device 20 includes a packing box 37 through which the control rod 17 passes and a seal 41 which provides a sealing function between the control rod 17 and the packing box 37. The packing box 37 is moveable with the control rod 17 in relation to the wall 15. Wall aperture 15c is sized to allow movement of the control rod 17 within aperture 15c. A flexible member 39 surrounds a portion of control rod 17 and extends between the packing box 37 and the wall 15, in a gastight communication with each. As such, the subject sealing device allows movement of the control rod without compromising the sealing function efficiency thereof.

  • Publication number: 20140318087
Abstract: A fabric filter valve arrangement (9) adapted for providing pulses of compressed gas to clean fabric filter bags (6) in a fabric filter (1). The valve arrangement (9) comprises a plunger (12) movable in relation to an edge (15) of a first end (16) of a pulse pipe (13). When the valve arrangement (9) is closed the plunger (12) abuts the edge (15) of the first end (16) of the pulse pipe (13) thus blocking the flow of compressed gas to the interior (13a) of pulse pipe (13). A sealing portion (19) of a sealing material is arranged at the plunger (12) and/or the edge (15) of the first end (16) of the pulse pipe (13).

  • Publication number: 20120073666
Abstract: A gas flow control arrangement for use in an exhaust gas cleaning system, comprising a duct (20) through which flue gases flow from a first end (20a) toward a second end (20b). The duct is configured to have a longitudinal expanse between its first end and its second end, and a gas flow control device (80) arranged therein. The gas flow control device further comprises at least one expanded screen (81, 82, 83, 84) arranged at an angle within the duct to distribute gas flow. A method for controlling gas flow in an exhaust gas cleaning system is also described.
