Publication number: 20020039654Abstract: An insulated DC-cable and method for production of an insulated DC-cable with an insulating system comprising an extruded cross-linked polyethylene based insulation disposed around the conductor. The extruded polyethylene based compound comprises additives such as cross-linking agent, scorch retarding agent and antioxidant. The scorch retarding agent comprises a compound (D), 2,4-diphenyl-4-methyl-pentene-1 and the antioxidant comprises a compound (C), a diester of 3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionicacid and thiodiglycol. The compounded polyethylene based resin composition is extruded and cross-linked at a temperature and for a period of time sufficient enough to cross link the insulation. The temperature and the period of time upon extrusion and cross-linking are limited so as to substantially suppress or essentially avoid undesired polar by-products being formed in the cross-linked composition.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 1, 2001Publication date: April 4, 2002Inventors: Bill Gustafsson, Ulf Nilsson, Alfred Campus, Peter Carstensen, Anders Gustafsson, Andreas Farkas, Anders Ericsson, Jan-Ove Bostrom

Patent number: 6222481Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of detecting and classifying objects using radar. The method means that a broadband radar signal comprising wavelengths that coincide with characteristic lengths of targets to be detected and classified is transmitted. Further, a returned echo signal is received and analysed, at which a signal analysis in a combined time-frequency domain is used, which comprises determining characteristic frequencies in the signal return and their mutual time relations. Finally, a comparison with the corresponding stored values of an analysis of possible targets is performed.Type: GrantFiled: January 5, 1999Date of Patent: April 24, 2001Assignee: Forsvarets ForskningsanstaltInventors: Staffan Abrahamson, Dan Axelsson, Bertil Brusmark, Anders Gustafsson, Hans Strifors

Patent number: 6210388Abstract: A method of manufacturing an absorbent article in the form of a pants diaper or a sanitary panty starts from a flat blank which includes an elongated absorbent body (5) enclosed between two casing sheets (2, 9) which at opposing front and rear end parts of the absorbent body have side parts which extend laterally beyond the body on opposite sides thereof. The method includes the step of folding the blank about a transverse axis so that the end edges of the side parts lie edge-to-edge. The front and rear side parts of the blank which oppose one another in the folded state of the blank are joined together by a releasable and refastenable fastener (20). A pants diaper can be manufactured in accordance with this method.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 1996Date of Patent: April 3, 2001Assignee: SCA Hygiene Products ABInventors: Urban Widlund, Anders Gustafsson

Patent number: 6120485Abstract: A disposable absorbent pants diaper includes an elastic pant provided with holes corresponding to the locations of the anus and the urethral opening when worn. Liquid impermeable layers cover the holes and are sealed to the elastic pant around the holes to thereby form pockets for receiving feces and urine respectively. The pockets also contain absorbent and/or superabsorbent material.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 1997Date of Patent: September 19, 2000Assignee: SCA Hygiene Products ABInventors: Anders Gustafsson, Urban Widlund
