Abstract: A longitudinally slotted sleeve constructed of stiff, but slightly resilient material is provided with one end of the longitudinal slot being outwardly flared. The one end of the sleeve may be longitudinally advanced into engagement with a flattened reversely folded flattened portion of a collapsible tube in order to prevent fluent material within the non-flattened end of the tube from returning to the flattened end portion thereof when the non-flattened end is squeezed to express additional fluent material therefrom.

Abstract: An upwardly opening cup is provided including a lower inlet for upwardly directing spray jets of fluid thereinto and open and contoured at its upper end to fittingly accommodate not only a depending teat but also the portion of the udder immediately surrounding the selected teat. The interior of the cup includes radially inwardly projecting bristle-type blades for effecting a scrubbing action on the exterior of an associated teat in response to spray jets of liquid being upwardly directed onto the blades and the associated teat from the cup lower inlet, and the upper axial end of the cup includes a circumferentially extending zone of upwardly projecting flexible blades for contacting the udder area immediately surrounding the associated teat and tactilly stimulating the udder to facilitate quick and complete milk "let-down".

Abstract: The invention comprises a brush and cleaning solution storage reservoir for washing of cars, and the like. The storage reservoir has a supply tube extending to the brush to conduct the cleaning solution thereto for use. The supply of cleaning solution to the brush is controlled by selective closure of a vent tube formed in the reservoir of cleaning solution.

Abstract: A powder dispenser for enabling a measured quantity of chlorinated powder employed in the cleaning and sanitation of milk pipelines, bulk tanks and the like including a bulk container for the powder which maintains the powder in a dry condition, a combined control valve and agitator associated with the bottom of the container and a discharge member associated therewith and a detachable, transparent graduated container mounted therein in order to measure a precise quantity of powder for use depending upon the requirements of each individual installation.

Abstract: A handle defining shank is provided and terminates at one end portion in a partial circular loop section of at least 300.degree. angular extent and equipped with generally radially outwardly projecting and circumferentially spaced bristles. The bristles are spaced along the loop section and the latter additionally includes a flexible liquid supply pipe extending therealong, including an inlet end portion supported from the other end of the shank portion. The inlet end portion of the tube is adapted for communication with the source of liquid under pressure and the extent of the flexible tube extending about the loop section includes a plurality of outlets spaced therealong opening inwardly toward the central area of the zone bound by the loop section. Further, the loop section is constructed of shape retentive but bendable and resilient material, whereby the loop section may be at least slightly expanded for engagement over a cylindrical member to be cleaned by the bristles.
