    Abstract: A device for rewinding yarns from a feed bobbin onto a bobbin tube includes a controller, a machine frame, and a bobbin mandrel held in a rotationally fixed manner in the machine frame to receive the feed bobbin. A winding device includes a thread brake to set a yarn tension in the yarn rewound from the feed bobbin onto the bobbin tube. A holder for the bobbin mandrel includes a weighing system in communication with the controller, wherein an adjustment of the thread brake is provided by the controller based on a weighing of the feed bobbin.

    Abstract: A slot drum for a winding machine for traversing a yarn has a drum body including a first half and an adjacent second half, the drum body held in a rotationally fixed manner on a drum shaft. The adjacent first and second halves defining a yarn guide slot that extends around the drum body. The first and second halves include a side shield, a cylindrical jacket, and a hub for mounting on the drum shaft. The first half is displaceable on the drum shaft in a direction of the drum axis via an actuator. The first half rotates relative to the second half as the first half moves in the direction of the drum axis.

    Abstract: A method for adapting a travel end position of a changing movement of a thread to a flange spool includes means of which the thread is moved back and forth during a spooling operation along a rotation axis of the flange spool relative to the flange spool by means of a changing thread guide. The flange-side travel end position can be moved away from the flange of the flange spool in an axial direction when the thread tension decreases when the thread is moved away from the flange-side travel end position. Also, the flange-side travel end position can be moved by means of the changing thread guide in an axial direction towards a flange of the flange spool when the thread tension increases when the thread is moved away from the flange-side travel end position. Included is a spooling device for carrying out the disclosed method.
