    Abstract: A rail fastening system fastens a rail of a vertically movable elevator system car has a first clamp connected to a holding structure, and a second clamp connected to the rail. The first clamp has a laterally extending first central part connectable to the holding structure and the second clamp has a laterally extending second central part connectable to the rail. Each clamp has two tabs attached in the lateral direction at opposite ends of the respective central part. A first tab of the first clamp can be connected to one of tabs of the second clamp on a first contact surface, and a second tab of the first clamp can be connected to the other of the tabs of the second clamp on a second contact surface. A first plane runs through the first contact surface and intersects with a second plane that runs through the second contact surface.

The installation frame has a base frame and a bearing frame on which the installation frame is supported from above. The transport device additionally has a fixing device arranged on the base frame for fixing the base frame to a shaft opening of a shaft wall of the shaft and for preventing the transport device from tilting. The bearing frame is supported by the base frame and is movable in the horizontal direction relative to the base frame such that, when the base frame is arranged outside of the shaft, the bearing frame , and thus also the installation frame, can be moved into the shaft from outside the shaft through the shaft opening.

    Abstract: A rope sway reducing arrangement hinders a lateral sway of an elongate rope-like device having one end attached to a movable component displaceable within an elevator hoistway and another end attached to a fixed position within the hoistway. The sway reducing arrangement includes an elongate guide arrangement having two spanning ropes fixedly attached within and extending in a longitudinal direction of the hoistway. The sway reducing arrangement further includes a rope tensioning arrangement having a weight member and being mechanically connected to the guide arrangement for displacement and guiding along the longitudinal direction of the guide arrangement. The mechanical connection is via an engagement member to generate tensioning forces onto the rope-like device due to gravity-induced forces resulting from a weight of the weight member. Thereby, the rope-like device is held at the guide arrangement with a downward directed mechanical tension thereby preventing excessive lateral sway.

Prior to the lift process, the at least one elevator car guide rail is elongated in the upwards direction above the drive platform and fixed to a shaft wall of the elevator shaft by at least one auxiliary support in the region of the elongation. After the lift process, the at least one auxiliary support, which then lies below the drive platform, is replaced by a final guide rail mounting which is designed differently than the auxiliary support.
