  • Publication number: 20100237572
Abstract: This invention relates to a clamping chuck for a machine tool driven in rotation. To provide a clamping chuck of this type with simple construction, in which in particular high-speed machine tools can be manufactured by simple means in miniature design with shaft diameters of only a few millimeters, so that they are easily replaceable on the one hand, and on the other hand are automatically held fast torsionally, it is designed so that a hollow cylindrical base member (2) has a round cylindrical cavity to hold a round cylindrical shaft (6) of the machine tool, and so that the clamping member (14) serves as a clamping device for the round cylindrical shaft (6) both axially and torsionally when the inner collar (13) of the sliding sleeve (7) stands in front of the wall gap (12), because of the fact that it extends into the internal round cylindrical cavity of the base member.

  • Patent number: 6851339
Abstract: A hand grip of a screwdriver for bits has a grip member having a first end and a second end. The first end has a tool holder for the bits. The second end has a stationary core with a round magazine having bit compartments extending in the longitudinal direction of the grip member and a closure device rotatable relative to the round magazine. The closure device has a sleeve providing an ergonomic outer shape of the second end of the grip member. The sleeve is rotatably supported on the stationary core and has a longitudinal access opening which passes externally across the bit compartments when the sleeve is rotated relative to the stationary core. The access opening can be aligned with the bit compartments for removal or insertion of the bit. The sleeve has a longitudinal length such that the upper end and the lower end form a closed ring, respectively.

  • Patent number: 6742786
Abstract: A clamping jaw for a tool holder chuck, wherein the clamping chuck has two clamping jaws arranged spaced apart and diametrically opposite one another relative to an axis of rotation of the clamping chuck and moveable toward and away from one another for clamping a tool shaft by moving the clamping chuck with a radial component, has a longitudinal slot having a slot mouth open toward the axis of rotation and a slot bottom. The longitudinal slot receives positive-lockingly the tool shaft and has slot flanks defining an approach angle at the slot mouth and a slot bottom angle at the slot bottom. The approach angle is greater than the slot bottom angle. The clamping jaw is manufactured with a disc milling cutter with opposed milling cutter flanks located radially outwardly and positioned slantedly relative to one another at different flank angles. The flank angles increase toward a center of the cutter body.

  • Patent number: 6058812
Abstract: Screwing tool (1) with a handle (2), tool holding fixture (3) and ratchet (4), in which the ratchet has a pivotally mounted ratchet element (6) which has several catch cams (5), and a first stop bolt (7), in which stop bolt (7) can be engaged with ratchet element (6) by displacement in an axial direction (9) defined by axis of rotation (8), such that handle (2) can turn relative to the tool holding fixture (3) in a first direction of rotation and can be locked by form-fit in the opposite second direction of rotation.
