  • Patent number: 7429710
Abstract: A high or medium voltage electrical switch, particularly a GIS type isolating switch with three switching positions and a grounding position, includes a switching element in a closed and sealed enclosure that can be filled with a dielectrically insulating gas, containing a mobile switching element free to move along an axial direction to electrically connect two conducting bars at intervals from each other, and also including a fixed ground contact to be electrically connected to one of the two conducting bars through the switching element when the switch is in the grounding position. The fixed ground contact is offset from the path of the switching element along the axial direction and the switching element forms a Y with a contact pin such that the contact pin and the fixed ground contact engage in each other through displacement of the switching element along the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 7357656
Abstract: A disconnection device is designed to separate a first portion of an electrical circuit electrically from a second portion of said circuit, the disconnection device including: at least one pair of contacts, one of which contacts is a moving contact, the pair of contacts having an open state and a closed state and a flexible conductor fixed at one end to the moving contact and serving to be fixed at the other end to one of the portions of the electrical circuit. The conductor comprises a flexible tube that is electrically conductive, at least at a surface portion thereof, and that has bending stiffness that is low enough to enable it to bend without kinking, and torsion stiffness that is high enough to enable it to take up a shape and a position that are substantially reproducible at least in the closed state. The device is used in particular in gas-insulated high-voltage electricity substations.

  • Publication number: 20050258140
Abstract: The invention relates to disconnection device designed to separate a first portion (11.1) of an electrical circuit (11) electrically from a second portion (11.2) of said circuit, the disconnection device comprising: at least one pair of contacts (16), one of which contacts (16.2) is a moving contact, the pair of contacts having an open state and a closed state; and a flexible conductor (21) fixed at one end to the moving contact (16.2) and serving to be fixed at the other end to one of the portions (11.1) of the electrical circuit. The conductor comprises a flexible tube (21) that is electrically conductive, at least at its surface, and that has bending stiffness that is low enough to enable it to bend without kinking, and torsion stiffness that is high enough to enable it to take up a shape and a position that are substantially reproducible at least in the closed state. Application in particular to gas-insulated high-voltage electricity substations.

  • Patent number: 6014072
Abstract: The present invention relates to a gas-insulated current transformer of simple structure for a single-phase or multi-phase switchgear, which transformer can be made in various dimensions and with magnetic cores of various lengths. The transformer comprises at least one support tube carrying three annular cores carrying respective secondary windings. The windings are superposed and disposed coaxially about the tube, and they are held by a clamping strap. The tube and the windings are disposed inside an enclosure defined by two metal plates constituting a bottom closure end plate and a top closure end plate, and by four metal side walls. The end plates are interconnected by link rods disposed in their corners. The two end plates are fixed to the ends of the rods by screws, and the metal side plates are screwed to said rods.
