Abstract: A material for solid polymer electrolyte, comprised of a polyether polymer having a moisture content in the range of 400 to 5,000 ppm by weight. A formed solid polymer electrolyte, which is made by mixing the material for solid polymer electrolyte together with an electrolyte salt compound soluble in the polyether polymer, has good ionic conductivity and high mechanical strength. A polyether polymer having a moisture content not larger than 0.04% by weight and a toluene-insoluble content not larger than 5% by weight. This polyether polymer gives a formed solid polymer electrolyte having a smooth surface.

Abstract: A process for laminating at least one electrode sheet onto an electrically conductive support film is provided. The process comprises heating the electrically conductive support film and laminating the at least one electrode sheet onto at least one side of the heated electrically conductive support film. An apparatus for laminating at least one electrode sheet onto an electrically conductive support film is also provided. The apparatus comprises lamination rollers forming a nip and means for carrying the electrically conductive support film and the at least one electrode sheet to the nip formed by the lamination rollers. The apparatus also comprises a heater for heating the electrically conductive support film before the electrically conductive support film reaches the nip formed by the lamination rollers.

Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for providing entity investment guidance via a communication network. The system includes a server, at least one entity-issued disclosure received by the server via the communication network and a storage accessible by the server. The storage includes at least one forecast data extracted from the at least one entity disclosure, said forecast data indicative of a projection of an entity performance parameter, and a context file for each of the forecast data, the context file including at least a portion of the entity disclosure associated with the forecast data. Also included in the system is a user interface in communication with the server, wherein the server generates an investment guidance display of the forecast data and the context file and transmits the display to the user interface via the communication network.

Abstract: The invention provides a pre-mix of positive electrode material in transportable solid form comprising polymer and solid particles of electrochemically active material and/or electronically conductive additives and a process for preparing a pre-mix positive electrode in transportable solid form. The pre-mix positive electrode material may also comprise an alkali metal salt either dissolved or dispersed in the mixture. The invention also provides making a cathode film from the transportable solid pre-mix of positive electrode material.

Abstract: The present invention provides a fixture for supporting an elongated specimen for crush testing. The fixture comprises a base plate, four guiding rods, a sliding plate, four support rods and two collars. The guiding rods connect to the base plate and extend in a direction substantially perpendicular to the base plate. The sliding plate has linear bearings which encircle the guiding rods and enable translation of the sliding plate along the axis of each guiding rod. The four supporting rods mount to the base plate and also extend in a direction substantially perpendicular to the base plate. Each support rod has a keyway for a wedge which contacts the elongated specimen and holds the specimen in place during crushing. Each collar lies above the sliding plate and holds a pair of support rods on their ends opposite the ends connected to the base plate. A spherical bearing sits on top of the sliding plate and transfers an applied load to the sliding plate, which moves downward and crushes the elongated specimen.

Abstract: A tool for use with a cartridge gun adapted to dispense a product from a cartridge, the tool having first and second nozzle members with a fluid passageway extending therethrough, the first and second nozzle members being rotatably moveable such that they may be moved through 180.degree. with respect to each other, the nozzle members having an arcuate configuration, and a guide member to guide the dispensing end of the tool through a prescribed path with respect to a fixed object. The tool permits a uniform dispensing at a desired distance and permits the user to dispense the contents into all corners of a room or the like.
