Abstract: The present invention provides methods for the treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) including advanced fibrotic and/or cirrhotic stages of NASH. The methods include administration of a compound comprising a double stranded RNAi (dsRNAi) oligonucleotide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, to the patient. The dsRNAi oligonucleotide optionally contains an antisense strand and a sense strand, wherein the antisense strand and the sense strand form a duplex region, and wherein the antisense strand comprises a region of complementarity to a KHK mRNA target sequence.

In an embodiment, based on data type discovery, a storage server detects that column values in a persistent column have a particular data type. Based on storage-side metadata including a frequency of access of the persistent column as an offload input column for offload computation requests on a certain range of memory addresses, the storage server autonomously decides to generate and store, in storage-side memory in the storage server, an accelerated representation of the persistent column that is based on the particular data type. The storage server receives a request to perform an offload computation for the offload input column. Based on the accelerated representation of the persistent column, execution of the offload computation is accelerated.

A database server receives from a client a query for reading values from a set of columns of a database table. The method includes casting a master aluminum alloy having a trisilanol phenyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (TSP) modifier into an ingot and adding the master aluminum alloy ingot into a molten base aluminum alloy to form a modified aluminum alloy. The modified aluminum alloy is heated for a period of time and then cast into a cast component. A variation of the method includes mixing a powdered aluminum alloy with a powdered TSP and pressing the mixture of powdered TSP and powdered aluminum alloy into a compacted preform prior to casting the master aluminum alloy. The compacted preform is melted during the step of casting the master aluminum alloy.
