  • Patent number: 11307737
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to navigating a collection of media items. In accordance with one embodiment, a device displays a plurality of content items in a first layout, including a first content item at a first aspect ratio and a first size, a second content item, and a third content item. While displaying the plurality of content items in the first layout, the device detects a user input that includes a gesture, wherein the user input corresponds to a request to change a size of the first content item. In response to detecting the user input, and as the gesture progresses, the device changes the size of the first content item from the first size to a second size while concurrently gradually changing an aspect ratio of the first content item from the first aspect ratio to a second aspect ratio.

  • Publication number: 20220082517
Abstract: A method (and corresponding system) that characterizes a porous rock sample is provided, which involves subjecting the porous rock sample to an applied experimental pressure where a first fluid that saturates the porous rock sample is displaced by a second fluid, and subsequently applying an NMR pulse sequence to the rock sample, detecting resulting NMR signals, and generating and storing NMR data representative of the detected NMR signals. The application of experimental pressure and NMR measurements can be repeated over varying applied experimental pressure to obtain NMR data associated with varying applied experimental pressure values. The NMR data can be processed using inversion to obtain a probability distribution function of capillary pressure values as a function of NMR property values. The probability distribution function of capillary pressure values as a function of NMR property values can be processed to determine at least one parameter indicative of the porous rock sample.

  • Patent number: 11227269
Abstract: An artificial intelligence system for managing a consumer relationship is provided. The artificial intelligence system includes: one or more client entities; a storage device configured to store data related to actions and characteristics of the one or more client entities, the actions and characteristics relating to payment of accounts receivable; one or more machine learning server devices configured to generate and update a machine learning model based on previous actions and characteristics of said one or more client entities; and predict future actions of the one or more client entities with respect to the payment of accounts receivable, based on the machine learning model.

  • Publication number: 20210407050
Abstract: This disclosure relates to various implementations that dynamically adjust one or more shallow depth of field (SDOF) parameters based on a designated, artificial aperture value. The implementations obtain a designated, artificial aperture value that modifies an initial aperture value for an image frame. The designated, artificial aperture value generates a determined amount of synthetically-produced blur within the image frame. The implementations determine an aperture adjustment factor based on the designated, artificial aperture value in relation to a default so-called “tuning aperture value” (for which the camera's operations may have been optimized). The implementations may then modify, based on the aperture adjustment factor, one or more SDOF parameters for an SDOF operation, which may, e.g., be configured to render a determined amount of synthetic bokeh within the image frame.
