  • Publication number: 20230167600
Abstract: A roller ironing press including, between two supporting shoulders, respectively a first shoulder and a second shoulder: a motorized roller, which cooperates with one or more pressers, the one or more pressers being heated and shaped complementarily to the roller, and elements for moving the one or more pressers toward the roller. Elements for moving the one or more pressers toward the roller include at least one cable which extends between pulleys, the cable being moved by drive elements which are kinematically connected to at least one of its ends.

  • Publication number: 20110046212
Abstract: This invention relates to the use of oleuropein, specifically oleuropein in non-glycated form, and its derivatives in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Furthermore, this invention relates to the use of oleuropein, specifically oleuropein in non-glycated form, and its derivatives both from synthesis and from degradation, in the treatment of pathologies associated with protein aggregation phenomena. Specifically, this invention relates to the use of oleuropein to prepare a pharmaceutical formula for the prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of pathologies connected to or deriving from amyloid deposit.

  • Patent number: 7448506
Abstract: An attachable knife block of a type having a storage body, in which various blade housings are located. The block is characterised by the fact that it is made up of a series of autonomous attachable and detachable units which may be attached/detached each other through connecting elements, each of the aforementioned autonomous units including a single blade housing in which just one knife can be housed.

  • Patent number: 5755907
Abstract: Tubular wrappings, formed from a sheet with superimposed longitudinal lateral portions and made of partly metal and partly heat-sealable material, are sealed longitudinally by successively feeding the wrappings, by means of a conveyor, in a first given direction and along a given path through a sealing station; by varying the traveling speed of the wrappings in relation to the conveyor so as to successively impart to the wrappings a pause at the sealing station; and by induction heating, for an adjustable length of time during the relative pause, the metal part of the sheet of each wrapping along the relative superimposed longitudinal lateral portions, to melt the heat-sealable part of the sheet.

  • Patent number: 5746872
Abstract: Elongated wrappings made of sheet material comprising a first metal component and a second heat-sealable component are end sealed by successively feeding the wrappings, by means of a conveyor, in a first given direction and along a given path through a sealing station; varying the traveling speed of the wrappings in relation to the conveyor at the sealing station; and induction heating, for a given length of time during a relative pause, the first component at the ends of each wrapping, to melt the second component.

  • Patent number: 5729959
Abstract: A method and an equipment for the sealing of a film of material for wrapping for product, according to which film, wrapped about the products, which are fed in ordered sequence and arranged at predetermined intervals along a packaging line in order to form a tubular envelope having two specific parts respectively defined by two overlapped longitudinal edges and two opposed walls included between two adjacent products and destined to be connected by means of a heat seal, is pre-heated at the specific parts brushing them by means of a beam of radiant electromagnetic energy.

  • Patent number: 5680747
Abstract: In a packaging machine through which products are advanced singly and in succession along a wrapping line together with a heat-sealable wrapping film, the film is folded around each product to form a wrapper of tubular appearance with two facially confronting longitudinal edge margins, whereupon the temperature of the edge margins is raised by electromagnetic induction to soften the material in readiness for heat-sealing. The pressure required to fuse the heated confronting edge margins together is applied evenly from two opposite sides.
