  • Patent number: 10379521
Abstract: Apparatus for the homing and subsequent positioning of the axes of a numerical control machine. The apparatus includes motion actuators operatively connected to a motor for moving a machine worktable of the apparatus, a control unit, an input/output unit operatively connected to the control unit for the definition of at least one working axis, at least one switching sensor, either of inductive or capacitive type, and at least one switching bar for the definition of at least one switching point identified on the at least one worktable using the at least one switching sensor. The switching sensors and switching points are fixed or mobile, and the at least one switching bar includes a detection area for the at least one switching sensor, the area being shared into a first detection section, a second detection section, and a plurality of protection and fastening areas. The apparatus also includes a sensor housing for the insertion, protection and sliding of one or more switching sensors.

  • Publication number: 20060241001
Abstract: The present invention includes an ophthalmically acceptable composition comprising surfactants including poloxomine 1107 and poloxomer 407; and a biguanide antimicrobial agent in amount effective to disinfect a contact lens. The present invention also comprises a method of cleaning and disinfecting contact lenses using the ophthalmically acceptable composition set forth above.

  • Publication number: 20030153475
Abstract: A method for cleaning contact lenses employs a composition that includes tromethamine in an amount effective to reduce the amount of denatured protein on the contact lens, thus rendering the contact lenses easier to clean. Additionally, by soaking contact lenses in the composition prior to inserting the lens on the eye, the compositions provide a prophylactic effect in preventing protein denaturation while the contact lens is worn.

  • Publication number: 20030133905
Abstract: A method of preventing and/or reducing deposition of denatured proteins on a contact lens while worn on the eye involves distilling in the eye an ophthalmically compatible composition including tromethamine in an amount effective to prevent or reduce protein denaturation. The compositions preferably include a demulcent, and may include conventional eye drop components such as a preservative, a buffering agent, a chelating agent, an osmolality adjusting agent, and/or a surfactant.
