  • Patent number: 11021158
Abstract: A vehicle dynamics control system in a motor vehicle includes an electronic vehicle dynamics control unit which is connected to at least one drive control unit and is configured so as to: determine at least one setpoint slip or a setpoint slip corridor and an actual vehicle speed as a reference speed, and transmit the at least one setpoint slip or the setpoint slip corridor together with the reference speed to the at least one drive control unit. The drive control unit, in accordance with the transmitted values and by way of a function module, determines setpoint rotational speed values at a motor level and carries out a rotational speed control process.

  • Patent number: 10693305
Abstract: A capacitive load charging/discharging device, including a first capacitor, a down-up converter including a first and a second switching element connected across the first capacitor, wherein a connecting point of the switching elements is connected to a first output terminal of the converter through a main coil. The device further includes an output circuit with a capacitive load arranged between first and second output circuit terminals, which are connected to output terminals of the converter. A discharge circuit is formed with the output circuit, the main coil and the second switching element, including an additional capacitor which is connected to a charging circuit for charging to a specified voltage, wherein the polarity of the voltage corresponds to that of the load voltage in the charged state of the capacitive load.

  • Patent number: 10167802
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to internal combustion engines. The teachings thereof may be embodied in methods for determining a state of an injection valve of an internal combustion engine. Some methods may include actuating the piezo actuator in a pulse-width-modulated manner; recording the T on and/or T off switching times of the pulse-width-modulated piezo output stage of the piezo actuator; and evaluating the recorded switching times to derive the state of the injection valve.

  • Patent number: 8447457
Abstract: A method for controlling the air pressure in tires able to be mounted on two powered axles of a motor vehicle, as a function of a driving situation, an engine torque being distributable to the two axles by a distributor clutch, and a plurality of input values being converted in a processing unit into an air pressure value describing the air pressure in each tire, a clutch friction value, which represents the clutch status, being processed into a control value in the processing unit as well. Also, a device which includes means for implementing such a method.

  • Patent number: 8360032
Abstract: A circuit for controlling an inductive load, e.g. of a fuel injection valve, includes supply terminals for supplying a voltage, output terminals for connecting the load, and a detection device which is connected to at least one of the output terminals and is used for detecting the point in time at which the operation of the load is discontinued and/or detecting at least one fault case during a non-operational phase of the load. In order to render the detection process more reliable while using less circuitry, the detection device encompasses a current mirror with a first current source and a second current source. The current first is connected to one of the two output terminals during a detection phase. The current supplied by the second current source is evaluated as a signal of the detected result.

  • Publication number: 20120323462
Abstract: A method for operating a drive unit having at least one drive machine which generates the torque supplied by the drive unit, a first parameter, which causes a slow change in the torque supplied by the drive unit, and a second parameter, which causes a rapid change of the torque, being used for setting a setpoint torque. Prior to raising the setpoint torque to a target torque, the first parameter is selected according to an actuating torque, which is greater than the setpoint torque; and the second parameter is selected in such a way that the drive unit continues to supply the setpoint torque. Furthermore, a control device for a drive unit is also described.
