  • Publication number: 20170227411
Abstract: A method for observing and/or monitoring strains which occur during sporting activities uses a sport shoe having downwardly extending engaging elements on a support which are pivotable about an axis perpendicular to a tread outsole. The method includes: observing how often the support is turned from its starting position within a time interval; forming a first variable which is a measure for the number of occurred turning movements of the support from the starting position observed within the time interval; and/or determining the pivot angle of the support and forming a second variable which is a measure for the sum of the pivot angles which occurred during the turning movements from the starting position which took place in said time interval, wherein the aforementioned steps are carried out by devices which are provided in or on the sport shoe; and displaying the first and/or second variables.

  • Patent number: 8079161
Abstract: There is described a sports shoe, especially a golf shoe, having a sole on which downwardly projecting ground-engaging elements are mounted or can be mounted. It is provided according to the invention that the ground-engaging elements (9), or the means (10) provided for mounting them, are guided and held to move forward and backward along an arc, especially an arc of a circle.

  • Patent number: 7955181
Abstract: Device for practicing a sequence of movement in the golf swing, includes a base, and a first support, that is mounted on the base in a manner such that it can pivot about a first vertical axis and is intended for a golf player to place a first foot onto the first support which has a first supporting part for supporting the front part of the foot and a second supporting part that can be pivoted about a horizontal axis and is intended for supporting the heel of the first foot, a guide device is provided which is arranged on the base in a manner such that it at least partially surrounds the first vertical axis and which exhibits a curved design which rises from a lowermost point and which supports the second supporting part, and a second support is provided for the golf player to place his second foot on.

  • Patent number: 7693294
Abstract: A method and system for reducing audible side effects of dynamic current consumption is provided. The system includes an audio subsystem, and a plurality of digital subsystems. The audio subsystem and the digital subsystem are powered by a common power supply. T he digital subsystem processes data packets including audio data packets. The processing events implemented in one or more than one digital subsystem are reorganized to change the profile for executing the events inside the subsystem(s). The dynamic current spectral properties in one or more digital subsystems are changed.
