  • Patent number: 10452372
Abstract: A method and a deployment module (110) for managing a container to be deployed on a software platform (120) are disclosed. The container provides a first set of functions. The deployment module (110) obtains (203) the container. The deployment module (110) obtains (204) a list specifying a second set of functions for the container. The deployment module (110) associates (205) the container, based on the list, with the second set of functions. The container, when deployed, provides the first and second set of functions when executed on the software platform (120). A corresponding computer program and a carrier therefor are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9756125
Abstract: A distributed shared data storage such as the distributed shared memory exemplified with the DSM Master can seamlessly migrate (i.e. move) in the runtime between different nodes without affecting the user perceived performance according to embodiments of the present invention. This is achieved by using more than one replica simultaneously operating towards different master databases during the migration. That is, all distributed shared memory replicas can automatically and seamlessly be migrated to another master database, thus making the communication more flexible and efficient.

  • Patent number: 8983502
Abstract: A user equipment (26) for wireless communication with a mobile base station (18). The user equipment is configured to: obtain a current location (P4) of the user equipment; receive a set of quality measures indicative of wireless data transfer rates in an area (A) comprising the current location (P4); present on a graphical interface (218) of the user equipment i) a new location (P5) comprised in the area (A), or ii) a direction (D5) to the new location (P5) comprised in the area (A). The new location (P5) is, in comparison with the current location (P4), associated with a relatively higher quality measure indicative of a wireless data transfer rate. A network node for obtaining and providing the set of quality measures is also disclosed, as well as related methods and computer readable mediums.

  • Patent number: 8849977
Abstract: A first control node and a method therein for selecting the first control node or a second control node to act as a server are provided. The first and second control nodes are comprised in an overlay network. The first control node obtains a first indication relating to a ranking of a suitability of the first control node to act as the server. Furthermore, the first control node receives a second indication from the second control node. The second indication relates to a ranking of a suitability of the second control node to act as the server. Then, the first control node selects, based on the first and second indications, one of the first and second control nodes to act as the server for managing a master representation of a distributed shared memory being accessible within the overlay network.
