  • Publication number: 20240065944
Abstract: A dental material having at least one copolymer obtained by (I) copolymerizing one or more monomers MG having a polymerizable (meth)acrylate group, one or more OH group-containing (meth)acrylates MF, one or more strongly acidic adhesive monomers MH and optionally of one or more polymerizable carboxylic acid monomers MCS, (II) reacting the resulting copolymer A0 in a polymer-analogous reaction with a functionalized, radically polymerizable monomer MP, which reacts with the OH groups of the monomer MF in the polymer chain of A0 to form a copolymer AP having pendant polymerizable groups, and (III) neutralizing the copolymer Ap with a base. The material is particularly suitable as a dental adhesive.

  • Patent number: 11840412
Abstract: A handling system includes a gravity feed rack, a pick-up rack, a front retaining element, and a rear retaining element. The gravity feed rack includes a retaining mechanism having an axially rotatably mounted shaft. The front retaining element is connected to the shaft. The front retaining element is moveable to a first retaining position to inhibit movement of a first load carrier. The rear retaining element is connected to the shaft and moveable to a second retaining position to inhibit movement of a second load carrier. When the gravity feed rack and the pick-up rack are brought together, at least one contact surface of a deflection element is configured to cooperate with the engagement element in order to rotate the shaft counter to a restoring force causing the front retaining element to move from the first retaining position and the rear retaining element to move to the second retaining position.

  • Patent number: 9555901
Abstract: A method of protecting a part of a surface of an aircraft against contamination with insect residues and/or against icing is described. The method includes the following steps: a) coating the part of the surface to be protected with a coating that can, within a period of ?3 hours from take-off of the aircraft and in normal flying conditions, reduce the adhesion to the part of the surface to be protected until detachment occurs on the basis of (i) temperature change and/or (ii) UV radiation and/or (iii) addition of a decomposing component and/or (iv) difference in air humidity, and b) exposing the part of the surface to be protected to (i) a temperature change and/or (ii) UV irradiation (iii) and/or addition of a decomposing component and/or (iv) a difference in air humidity, so that the coating together with any contaminants and/or icing thereon detaches.

  • Patent number: 9162257
Abstract: In a method for distributing packages or similar dispatched articles, packages that are to be transported from a private and/or commercial sender to an addressee are acquired in a collecting location. In this collecting location, the packages are provided with a package code that has electronically detectable data, and subsequently, the packages are distributed and/or delivered by means of transport vehicles. According to the invention, the collected packages are supplied to a HUB center that is connected to several collecting locations and in the HUB center the respective package codes are expanded with measurement data (length, width, height, weight) of the package to a package routing code. These package routing codes of all packages are supplied to a central computer and the packages are arranged in accordance with a route planning that can be dynamically optimized by the central computer into a sequence that is sorted in accordance with distribution zones.

  • Publication number: 20060084723
Abstract: Method for production of nanocomposites from nanopowders present in agglomerated form and organic binders. Through surface modification of the nanofillers in an organic medium it is possible to divide the agglomerates permanently to such an extent that transparent nanocomposites can be preserved. The modified nanopowder is preferably isolated as a dry intermediate. The production of the disclosed nanocomposites is simpler than the production of nanocomposites by the sol-gel technique and in addition is more flexible and has wider applicability. An important application for the nanocomposites is scratch-resistant paints.
