  • Patent number: 7114409
Abstract: The invention provides a change gear, in particular in motor vehicles. This transmission comprises input and output shafts, a drive shaft that is in torque transmitting connection with the first and second output shafts; a first group of gear sets comprising at least one first gear set; a second group of gear sets comprising at least one second gear set; an itermediate shaft; and a first gear section. The input shaft is connectable with the first output shaft by the first group of gear sets. A second gear section is providcd in which the intermediate shaft is connectable to the second output shaft by the second group of gear sets. The intermediate shaft is in gearing connection with the first input shaft.

  • Publication number: 20060054442
Abstract: A hydraulic system for providing pressure and volume flows in a double-clutch transmission. A first clutch and a second clutch are preceded by at least one changeover valve which, in a first state, guides lubricating flow to the first clutch and cooling flow to the second clutch, and, in a second state, guides lubricating flow to the second clutch and cooling flow to the first clutch. The cooling flow is preferably variable.

  • Publication number: 20060054446
Abstract: The invention relates to a clutch transmission (1) having a transmission element (20) that is accommodated in a transmission chamber (4), having a clutch element (23) that is accommodated in a clutch chamber (2), and having a hydraulic controller (19) that comprises an oil pump (15) and has the purpose of providing pressures and volume flows in the clutch transmission (1), in which, in order to cool the clutch element (23), the oil pump (15) sucks in oil and pumps it into the clutch chamber (2). In order to reduce churning losses in the transmission chamber and as far as possible to prevent air from being sucked in by the oil pump, an intake chamber (3) is provided in addition to the transmission chamber (4) and the clutch chamber (2), and the oil pump (15) sucks in oil from said intake chamber (3). The intake chamber (3) is operatively connected to an oil outlet (7) of the clutch chamber (2) in order to receive the oil that leaves the clutch chamber (2).

  • Publication number: 20060054447
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic system (1) for providing pressures and volumetric flows in a dual clutch transmission, in particular for providing a first volumetric flow for cooling and lubricating a first clutch (2) and for providing a second volumetric flow for cooling and lubricating a second clutch (3). The hydraulic system is distinguished by the fact that at least one switching valve (4), which in a first position guides a lubricating flow onto the first clutch (2) and a cooling flow onto the second clutch (3) and in a second position guides the lubricating flow onto the second clutch (3) and the cooling flow onto the first clutch (2), is connected upstream of the first clutch (2) and the second clutch (3). The cooling flow is preferably variable.

  • Publication number: 20050193846
Abstract: The invention to provide a change gear with a very short overall length in lengthwise direction that can be used as manual gear shift transmissions, automatic gear shift transmissions, and power gear shift transmissions, in particular in motor vehicles. This transmission comprises: at least a first input shaft; a first output shaft; a second output shaft; a drive shaft that is in torque transmitting connection with the first and second output shafts; a first group of gear sets comprising at least one first gear set; a second group of gear sets comprising at least one second gear set; an intermediate shaft; a first gear section in which the input shaft is connectable with the first output shaft by means of the first group of gear sets; a second gear section in which the intermediate shaft is connectable to the second output shaft by means of the second group of gear sets; wherein the intermediate shaft is in gearing connection with the first input shaft.

  • Patent number: 6929107
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic twin clutch for a transmission with two transmission input shafts, preferably for a power-shift transmission in motor vehicles, with concentric arrangement of the two transmission input shafts, a driven clutch housing, two hydraulically actuated clutches with friction disks and annular piston-cylinder units, the first clutch connecting the clutch housing selectably to the first transmission input shaft and the second clutch connecting the clutch housing selectably to the second transmission input shaft. It is distinguished by the fact that the two clutches are arranged adjacent one another, separated by a clutch web firmly connected to the clutch housing, and the two piston-cylinder units provided for the actuation of the clutch are likewise arranged adjacent one another and separated by the clutch web, between the clutches and the transmission input shafts, on a smaller diameter than the clutches.
