Publication number: 20240018596Abstract: The invention relates to means and methods for assessing clonal immunoglobulin (IG)/T cell receptor (TR) gene rearrangements in a clinical, diagnostic and/or research setting. Provided is a quality control composition comprising a mixture of genomic DNA isolated from a set of nine cultured cell lines, said set comprising the B cell lines ALL/MIK (ALL), Raji (Burkitt lymphoma), REH (B cell precursor ALL), TMM (CML-BC/EBV+B-LCL), TOM-1 (B cell precursor ALL), WSU-NHL (B cell lymphoma) and the T cell lines JB6 (ALCL), Karpas299 (ALCL) and MOLT-13 (ALL), or wherein one or more cell lines of said set is replaced with one or more other cell line(s) comprising the same IG/TR gene rearrangements. Also provided is a quality control composition consisting of essentially equimolar amounts of genomic DNA isolated from healthy human thymus, healthy human tonsil and healthy human peripheral blood mononuclear cells.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 18, 2020Publication date: January 18, 2024Inventors: Monika Ursula Helga Brüggemann, Michaela Kotrová, Henrik Knecht, Nikolaos Darzentas, Giovanni Cazzaniga, Frédéric Bernard Louis Davi, Jacobus Johannes Maria Van Dongen, Ramón Garcia-Sanz, David Gonzalez De Castro, Patricia Johanna Theodore Groenen, Michael Andreas Hummel, Elizabeth Anne Macintyre-Davi, Konstantinos Stamatopoulos, Christiane Pott, Jan Trka, Anthonie Willem Langerak

Patent number: 11028035Abstract: The invention relates to a method for separating acetone from acetone/water mixtures, according to which a partial flow of the acetone/water mixture is concentrated in a column operating under positive pressure in order to obtain a product with an acetone concentration of at least 80 wt. %, and a partial flow of the acetone/water mixture is concentrated in a column operating under normal pressure. The top product from the column operated under positive pressure is used to heat the bottom product of the column operated under normal pressure, by means of a heat exchanger, and the top product is then introduced into the column operated under normal pressure, above the supply of the partial flow of the acetone/water mixture. This method allows the specific energy demand for acetone separation to be significantly reduced, thereby presenting considerable cost advantages. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out such a method.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2018Date of Patent: June 8, 2021Assignee: Rhodia Acetow GmbHInventors: Andreas Hummel, Thomas Krumrey

Patent number: 10104907Abstract: Highly cohesive composite materials, formed of at least one polymer and at least one compound selected from among the mineral oxides, silicoaluminates and activated carbon, have: a number median particle size of at least 150 ?m; a pore volume (Vd1), constituted of pores of diameter ranging from 3.6 to 1000 nm, of at least 0.4 cm3/g; and a cohesion index CIN, equal to the ratio (number median particle size after an air pressure stress of 4 bar)/(number median particle size without air pressure stress (0 bar)), greater than 0.40. Such composite materials are useful, e.g., as liquid supports, catalyst supports, additives or for liquid or gas filtration, in particular in cigarette filters.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 2009Date of Patent: October 23, 2018Assignee: Rhodia Acetow GmbHInventors: Andreas Hummel, Carsten Habeck, Jean-Francois Viot, Philippe Lapersonne
