  • Publication number: 20220290626
Abstract: A method for operating a control unit for an exhaust gas probe, in particular a broadband Lambda probe for an internal combustion engine, in particular of a motor vehicle. The control unit is designed for the electrical actuation of the exhaust gas probe, and the control unit in particular being implemented in the form of an application-specific integrated circuit, ASIC. The method includes: specifying control data for an operation of the control unit and/or the exhaust gas probe with the aid of a processing device; receiving operating data which characterizes the operation of the control unit and/or the exhaust gas probe with the aid of a processing device.

  • Patent number: 8713225
Abstract: A control unit includes at least one computing device and at least one separate peripheral module which is connected to the computing device via a serial multiwire bus, the peripheral module including at least one output stage for transferring serial data to means outside of the control unit. In order to keep the number of pins required on a peripheral module to a minimum, thereby reducing costs for the entire control unit, the peripheral module has an asynchronous single-wire interface between one interface for the serial multiwire bus and the output stage. The asynchronous single-wire interface is preferably a UART (universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter) interface. The serial multiwire bus is preferably a microsecond bus.

  • Patent number: 7689729
Abstract: A method and computer program for implementing a reset both in a master computer and a slave computer which are both connected to a shared data bus. To allow a different reset configuration of both computers even when the slave computer, in particular, has no possibility of an internal slave-reset configuration, the method provides that the slave computer is configured with a slave-reset configuration which is provided to the slave computer by the master computer, reset-configured beforehand, via the data bus.

  • Publication number: 20080212668
Abstract: A method for serial data transmission from a transmitter to a receiver has the following steps: a) establishing at least one digital data word which is representative of a data value to be transmitted; b) establishing a pulse duration which is proportional to a non-negative integer represented by the data word plus a constant positive allowance; c) transmitting a pulse (IH, IM, IL) having the established pulse duration from the transmitter to the receiver; and d) detecting the pulse duration at the receiver and reconstructing the data word.

  • Publication number: 20070065305
Abstract: A diaphragm pump for conveying liquids for application in a sterile environment includes passageways for conduction of a liquid, and check valves for controlling a flow of liquid through the passageways. The diaphragm pump is constructed in such a way that all surfaces of the passageways in contact with the liquid being conveyed are disposed at a slant. In addition, all transitions between liquid-conducting surfaces have a gradual configuration. For drainage of the diaphragm pump, the shutoff elements of the check valves are lifted off their valve seat through temporary generation of a magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 6275015
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for reducing a variable, in particular pulsed input voltage (Uein) to an operating voltage Uz, Uarb to be delivered to an evaluation circuit (10), in which the input voltage Uein can be reduced, in accordance with a division factor (F) made available by at least one voltage divider (R1, R3, T1, R4; R7, R8, R2), to obtain the operating voltage Uz, Uarb, in which the at least one voltage divider (R1, R3, T1, R4; R7, R8, R2), can be regulated in such a way that the division factor (F) can be increased with an increasing input voltage Uein and can be decreased with a decreasing input voltage Uein.
