  • Patent number: 9221274
Abstract: Method for direct printing on containers via a direct printing machine, with a print layer printed onto the container, in a first predefined area, in a first device, and a cover layer applied to the container in a second device, the cover layer applied to a second predefined area. A surface area of the second predefined area is larger than that of the first predefined area. The cover layer coalesces with the printing ink in the first predefined area, creating a first connection, and coalesces with the container in parts of the second predefined area differing from the first predefined area, creating a second connection. The first and second connections are insoluble in aqueous solutions having a pH value between 3 and 10 and easily soluble in aqueous solutions having a pH value in a range of less than 3 and/or higher than 10.

  • Patent number: 9088156
Abstract: An electric switch is disclosed, in particular an electric circuit breaker. In at least one example embodiment, the switch includes a measuring channel for measuring an electric measured variable and is switched off when the result of a measurement reaches or exceeds a limit value. To test the mode of operation of the measuring channel, the electric measured variable is switched to a reference channel and a reference signal source is switched to the measuring channel and the reference result obtained via the measuring channel is compared with a reference setpoint. The switch is also tripped if, to test the mode of operation of the measuring channel, the electric measured variable is switched to the reference channel and the result obtained via the reference channel reaches or exceeds the limit value.

  • Publication number: 20150007586
Abstract: A method for converting a cryostat configuration (1) having a first container (2) with a liquid helium bath (3) and a second container (6) which is filled with liquid nitrogen (7) is characterized in that a cooling medium (12) which is in a gaseous state at a temperature of 60K and a pressure of 1 bar, is introduced into the second container and is cooled by a refrigerator (16) by means of a cooling circuit (11), the coolant lines of which are guided into the second container, to an operating temperature of ?60K. With this retrofit for existing cryostat configurations that utilize both liquid helium and also liquid nitrogen for cooling a superconducting coil, use of liquid nitrogen can be completely avoided and the evaporation rate of the liquid helium can also be considerably reduced without having to re-liquefy the cryogens used.
