  • Publication number: 20210270373
Abstract: The invention relates to a seal collar, as are used for sealing rotary unions of rotating shafts against a surrounding housing, and a matching rotary union. To this end, provision is made that a radial chamfer hydrodynamically effective in the radial direction is provided at the at least one flank of the seal collar, which radial chamfer transitions to a flank surface of the flank at an angle ? towards the clamping surface, in that the hydrodynamically effective radial chamfer has an extension in the radial direction of ?0.3 mm, preferably ?0.5 mm and in that the hydrodynamically effective radial chamfer has a maximum axial depth in the range of 20 ?m to 50 ?m relative to the flank surface. Further, provision is made that the clamping surface facing the at least one lateral sealing flank is converted at a falling angle ? into an axial chamfer, which is hydrodynamically effective in the axial direction. The hydrodynamically effective radial or axial chamfer provides a low-friction and low-wear seal collar.

  • Patent number: 11047420
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydrodynamic bearing, namely a hydrodynamic disk-shaped thrust bearing or hydrodynamic thrust washer, wherein hydrodynamic structures having elevations and having depressions arranged between adjacent elevations are arranged on opposite sides of the bearing, which hydrodynamic structures extend in the peripheral direction, and slopes of the hydrodynamic structures are arranged between adjacent depressions, which slopes extend from the depressions toward the elevations. According to the invention, at least some of the elevations of the hydrodynamic structures of the first side of the bearing are arranged in the region between two depressions of the hydrodynamic structures of the second side of the bearing, the elevations of a side of the bearing being arranged at an offset to each other in the peripheral direction.

The hydrodynamic bearing can be easily adapted to expected axial loads of the bearing and enables low-loss and low-wear axial support.

  • Patent number: 6261128
Abstract: There is provided a contacting device (1) for chip cards, preferably for SIM cards, comprising a base (2), a slider (12) arranged at the base (2) and being movable with respect to the base (2), the chip card (4) being slidable between an insert/removal position and a reading position by means of said slider, and means (7, 22) for inhibiting removal of the slider from the contacting device (1). Preferably, the slider (12) is slidably mounted to the base (2) and is in abutting engagement with an abutment in the insert/removal position such that the slider (12) cannot be removed from the contacting device (1), i.e. the slider (12) cannot be moved beyond the insert/removal position. Thus, the contacting device does not comprise any loose parts that could get lost.
