  • Publication number: 20190215460
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include simplified user interfaces configured to display one or more symbols for image capture by an image capture device. A computing device with image processing software may be used to process the image to detect the symbol and determine a control function associated with the symbol for controlling one or more building system components. Other aspects include software applications for allowing a user to customize a set of symbols and associated control functions.

  • Patent number: 10257901
Abstract: A dental light having an array of light emitting diode (LED) assemblies, at least one first LED assembly having at least one first LED element configured to emit light according to a first spectral distribution, a conversion phosphor configured to convert at least a portion of the first spectral distribution. At least one filter is fixed within said converted light, the filter configured to block at least a portion thereof. The array includes at least one second LED element configured to emit light according to a second spectral distribution, wherein light having the filtered spectral distribution is selectively emitted from said array in a first mode and from both the filtered and second spectral distributions in a second mode.

  • Patent number: 8339061
Abstract: The invention relates to a novel operating method and corresponding ballast for illuminating systems having temporally sequential color filtering and a high-pressure discharge lamp operated by alternating current. In this case, at least three commutations of the lamp current are used within a color filtering sequence, in order to be able to operate the lamp advantageously without an excessive increase in the operating frequency of the color filter system.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 26, 2004
Date of Patent: December 25, 2012
    Assignee: Osram AG

  • Patent number: 7670037
Abstract: An automotive headlamp bulb provides the two light or three filament sources in a single bulb. One source may be used to generate a standard headlamp beam, while the second source may be used to generate an augmenting side beam in response to a turning signal. A similar third filament may provide an augmenting beam to the opposite side, or farther to the same side. The single bulb eliminates the need for a second bulb, or a second reflector in an advanced headlamp system with turning light augmentation.
