  • Patent number: 11947445
Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting operating parameters of at least one pipelined software asset. Within a pipelined environment, an agent software asset is inserted immediately preceding a software asset whose operating parameters are to be adjusted. The agent software asset receives data and/or data sets from a user and such data and data sets are inserted/used by the software asset. The agent software asset also allows for a reporting of the output of other software assets to thereby provide users with intermediate outputs from the pipelined environment.

  • Patent number: 11795888
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed to, for example, a method for calculating a data envelope while calibrating a technical system. In some specific embodiments, the d-dimensional calibration space, which comprises the calibration variables required for the calibration, is divided into a first sub-calibration space having a dimension dsub<d and at least one further sub-calibration space, and a dsub-dimensional data envelope is calculated at least for the first sub-calibration space using available data points and is checked during the calibration as an auxiliary condition.

Date of Patent: October 24, 2023
    Assignee: AVL LIST GMBH
    Inventors: Andreas Rainer, Nico Didcock
  • Patent number: 11669095
Abstract: When a vehicle performing driverless operation of encounters a blockade situation, a probable blockade time duration of the blockade situation is predicted based on a situational analysis. Support by a teleoperator is requested when the predicted blockade time duration of the blockade situation is greater than a predetermined time duration or when the vehicle has waited longer than the predicted blockade time duration for a resolution of the blockade situation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 30, 2019
Date of Patent: June 6, 2023
    Assignee: MERCEDES-BENZ GROUP AG
Inventors: Bernd Woltermann, Fabian Andreas Rainer Ventzke, Clemens Severin Tiedeken, Pascal Dauer, Frieder Sönning, Louisa Koch

  • Patent number: 10331810
Abstract: To determine a model for an output quantity (y) of a technical system that is dependent in a nonlinear manner on a number of input quantities in the form of an input quantity vector (u), a target output quantity range (COR) is defined and a model-based experimental design is determined with which the model is parameterized in the target output quantity range (COR) through the selection of associated input quantity vectors (ucand,COR). A distance-based selection criterion is used for the selection of the input quantity vectors (ucand,COR).
