  • Patent number: 9641808
Abstract: A method for presenting image data, in which an optical implement captures the position and positional information is obtained thus and, with the aid of the positional information, image data are determined and displayed or processed further. The image data to be displayed are at least in part based on virtual image data, not real image data captured directly by the optical implement. These virtual image data represent an object or body part situated in the field of view of the optical implement. Within the scope of the method, real image data are recorded by means of the optical implement, the position and/or alignment of the optical implement is captured simultaneously and positional information is derived therefrom.

  • Patent number: 9389416
Abstract: An optical resonance scanner has a spring-elastic bending element (10) excitable to effect rotational oscillations about a longitudinal axis (A-A) using a stationary magnet (9) and a stationary drive coil (5) that is wound around a pole shoe (20). The pole shoe (20) is magnetically coupled to the magnet (9) and has two mutually opposite free ends (21, 22) between which the bending element (10) is arranged symmetrically so that a magnetic flux can be transferred substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis (A-A). In superimposition of the magnet- and coil-induced magnetic fluxes the magnet (9) and a first half (23) of the pole shoe (20) form a first magnetic circuit (30), and the magnet (9) and a second half (24) of the pole shoe (20) form a second magnetic circuit (31), which run in opposite senses with respect to one another in a plane perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis (A-A) through a magnetizable section (6) of the bending element (10).

  • Patent number: 7774976
Abstract: An insect trap has a hollow body generally centered on an upright axis, having a central upwardly open output passage, and formed around the central output passage with an annular intake passage having a dark-colored inner surface. A light-colored foraminous wall upwardly covers the central output passage and has a surface area substantially greater than that of the intake passage. A blower in the body expels air from the body through the central output passage and through the foraminous wall at a predetermined low speed and draws air into the annular intake passage at a high speed substantially higher than the predetermined low speed. Insects attracted by the weak stream or by a contrast between the dark-colored inner surface and the light-colored foraminous wall are trapped in the annular intake passage.

Abstract: Defining target data types within an instance of a target data type definition for inclusion in a reference data type definition to declare expected entity relationships in a model. The model corresponds to, for example, software, a business process, or an organizational structure. The target data type defines one or more elements with target data. The target data describes entities that are expected to be related to the reference entity according to a predefined entity relationship. The existing reference data type definition is used to declare the expected entity relationships. In an embodiment, the defined target data type includes a tag in an eXtensible Markup Language (XML) document.
