  • Patent number: 10866315
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided. A radar signal comprising first identity information is received. Information on a non-radar channel comprising second identity information is received. It is determined that the radar signal and the information on the non-radar channel are sent from a first sender when the first and second identity information correspond.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 27, 2016
Date of Patent: December 15, 2020
    Assignee: NXP B.V.
    Inventor: Jörg Andreas Siemes
  • Patent number: 10545220
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided to authenticate information embedded within radar signals. Radar signals comprising embedded information are received from a first sender. First position information is determined corresponding to a position of the first sender. Second position information associated with the embedded information is determined. The first and second position information is compared.

  • Patent number: 10439641
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to processing signals including data exhibiting characteristics that facilitate assessment of transmission errors. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more embodiments, parameters are generated based signal transmission characteristics and are indicative of a different types of signal characteristics, including an amount of error correction that has been carried out on the signal. Two or more of the parameters are selected based on properties of signal disturbance under different reception conditions for the signal, and a degree of disturbance in the signal is predicted based on the selected parameters and signal conditions for the respective parameters at which the signal cannot be corrected. An output generated with the signal is then controlled, based on the predicted degree of disturbance and a threshold degree of disturbance.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 8, 2019
    Assignee: NXP B.V.
Inventors: Martin Kessel, Sebastian Bohn, Jörg Andreas Siemes

  • Patent number: 7948203
Abstract: An arrangement for the control of a soft starting or stopping of a three phase current motors (1), a so-called soft starter, is furnished for starting of heavy mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic drives. In order to obtain a space savings with individual or multiple installation and to obtain a better accessibility during servicing, at least one switch cell (3) is formed in a switching cabinet (2), wherein the switch cell (3) comprises at least a three phase power block (4), and the power electronic (5) as well as contactors (6, 18) and is as a unit towards the front easily demountable or inversely incorporatable and is arranged without attachment at the rear or side wall (8) of the switch cabinet (2). In addition, it is furnished that in contrast a separating switch (9) attached at the switch cabinet wall (2) with a collection rail connection (10) by way of a pluggable contact coupling (10a) is connectable upon shifting inside and disengageable upon pulling out.
