  • Publication number: 20220411218
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for winding up a web of material (4) by means of an apparatus (1) including at least: one winding-up space (2) for accommodating an at least partially wound up web of material (wound roll (3)) having a winding center (Z); means for conveying and/or manipulating the web of material prior to and/or during winding-up; including the following steps: a) operating the apparatus (1); b) monitoring the web of material (4) and/or the resulting wound roll (3) by means of at least one image capturing device (30) for obtaining at least one current state (actual state) of the web of material (4) and/or of the wound roll (3); c) comparing at least one actual state to at least one target state and corresponding to the actual state, and determining at least one deviation of the actual state from the corresponding target state; d) if the deviation exceeds/falls below at least one predetermined limit value, performing a correction of at least one operating parameter of the apparatus (1) w

  • Patent number: 11220384
Abstract: A module includes compressible insulation products that each have a longitudinal axis, a peripheral surface, and first and second ends. The module includes a single row of insulation products positioned next to one another along a first direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the insulation products, a first film that wraps each insulation product of the single row in a compressed state by covering the peripheral surface of the insulation product, a second film that wraps the single row of insulation products by covering some of the peripheral surface of the insulation products of the row, and a third film that wraps the single row of insulation products by covering the first and second ends of each insulation product of the row.

  • Patent number: 10994910
Abstract: A pack includes compressible insulation products that each have a longitudinal axis, a peripheral surface, and first and second ends. The pack includes a stack of at least two modules, where each module includes a row of insulation products positioned next to one another along a first direction. The modules of the stack are superimposed along a second direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the insulation products and to the first direction. The pack also includes a cover that wraps the stack by covering five faces of the stack including the two end faces of the stack formed by the ends of the insulation products and at least the periphery of the sixth face of the stack.

  • Publication number: 20050166543
Abstract: A method of making an insulation product is provided. An uncured or partially cured mat containing randomly oriented inorganic fibers and a heat curable binder agent is formed. The mat has a pair of side portions and a first and second major surfaces thereon. A nonwoven sheet is applied to the first major surface. The nonwoven sheet comprises randomly oriented glass fibers. The uncured or partially cured mat is heated with the nonwoven sheet, wherein the mat is cured to form a low density mat and the nonwoven sheet is bonded to the first major surface by the heat curable binder agent.
