  • Publication number: 20130306180
Abstract: A flat, box-shaped hydraulic block for the mechanical fastening and hydraulic interconnection of solenoid valves, pump elements, etc. of a slip-controlled vehicle brake system connects connections of installation spaces for the pump elements to connectors for a brake master cylinder and connections of receptacles for pressure build-up valves which run past one another via flat chambers on longitudinal sides of the hydraulic block and short blind bores. As a result, the receptacles of the pressure build-up valves are connected to the connectors for the brake master cylinder. The chambers damp pressure pulses of the pump elements of a piston pump.

  • Patent number: 8523295
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic assembly of a vehicle brake system with traction control. Hydraulic assemblies include a housing block, which is to be fitted with hydraulic components, and an electronic control unit for activating the components. It is known for a hydraulic connection for a pressure sensor to be provided on a housing block and for the signal of the pressure sensor to be taken into consideration for brake pressure regulation in the control unit. The invention proposes an advantageous arrangement of at least one second hydraulic connection for a second pressure sensor on the housing block in combination with blind bores of the hydraulic connections. The blind bores can be positioned in a variable fashion and formed with different lengths during the production of the housing block. In this way, it is possible for the pressure in different hydraulic partial regions of a vehicle brake system to be sensed in an application-specific manner.

  • Publication number: 20120223211
Abstract: A device for vibration-damping mounting of a vehicle brake system fluid assembly in a receiving opening includes a stay bolt, an elastic damping element in the form of a sleeve through which the stay bolt passes, a clamping sleeve guided by the stay bolt, and a screw element having an internal thread. The stay bolt comprises a connecting pin and a threaded shank having an external thread onto which the screw element can be screwed in order to move the clamping sleeve axially on the stay bolt towards the elastic damping element. The clamping sleeve and the screw element are in the form of a one-piece clamping element having a bearing shoulder, wherein the axial force generated by the clamping element as a result of the screwing-on movement acts via the bearing shoulder on the elastic damping element. A fluid assembly includes at least one such device for vibration-damping mounting.

  • Patent number: 8128180
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic braking system having a device for controlling brake slip, drive slip, and/or the driving stability of a vehicle. Among other things, such devices use pumps, valves, and reservoirs to control brake pressure in the wheel brakes in accordance with wheel slip occurring at the particular wheels. These components are in contact with each via a hydraulic circuit. The hydraulic circuit is built into a hydraulic block that has spaces for installing the components and channels for hydraulic contact. The invention makes possible a particularly compact and reduced-weight design of the hydraulic block and at the same time low manufacturing costs. For this purpose an advantageous layout and sealing of channels relative to each other and to the surrounding area is provided.

  • Patent number: 8123308
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for suspending a unit, especially a hydraulic unit of an electronically traction-controlled brake system of a motor vehicle. The unit is suspended in a receptacle provided on the vehicle such that vibrations are damped. Hydraulic units of vehicle brake systems are usually equipped with an electric motor for driving pumps located in the hydraulic unit. The brake pressure in the wheel brakes can be modulated via the pumps. The pump drive can cause mechanical and hydraulic vibrations in the unit which can result in unwanted operational noise in case the vibrations are transmitted to the vehicle body without being damped. The improved device is manually preloaded due to limited space for using tools. A clamping mechanism is guided in an axially movable manner on an armature which is fixed to the hydraulic unit and which can be moved from a basic position into a clamping position. The clamping mechanism is interlocked with the armature in both positions.

  • Patent number: 8042884
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic vehicle brake system having a service brake which can be actuated by muscle force and having a device for regulating the wheel slip. It is proposed in such a vehicle brake system to use suction pumps in connection with specially-designed accumulators. The accumulators have separating elements which in each case separate a first accumulator chamber from a second accumulator chamber. An inflow opens out into the first accumulator chamber, and an outflow, which is separate from the inflow, outlets out of the first accumulator chamber. The separating element is arranged so as to be freely movable between two end positions, and in one of its end positions, blocks a pressure medium connection of the inflow to the outflow.

  • Patent number: 7883158
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic unit for a hydraulic vehicle brake system having anti-skid control. The hydraulic unit includes a hydraulic block and an electric motor for driving hydraulic pumps inside the hydraulic block. The hydraulic block and electric motor are joined at a circumferential joint. For connection, the invention provides that the electric motor is provided with a radial flange, which is overlapped by a surrounding bead of the hydraulic block. The bead is designed so that it overlaps, in a radial inward manner, the radial flange of the electric motor by a joining process, for example, a surrounding caulking. The electric motor is sealingly connected to the hydraulic block in a simple manner by the surrounding joining process.

  • Publication number: 20100287923
Abstract: The invention relates to a pressure accumulator, especially for a hydraulic unit of a hydraulic vehicle braking system with electronic wheel slip regulation. Pressure accumulators having an accumulator piston acted on by a piston spring are known according to prior art. In order to save costs on parts for the piston spring and to save space in terms of the pressure accumulator, a piston spring having at least one first spring winding is used. According to the invention, the outer diameter of the first winding is smaller than the inner diameter of a second spring winding connected thereto.

  • Publication number: 20100207446
Abstract: The invention is based on a hydraulic unit for regulating the brake pressure in a vehicle brake system. Hydraulic units of such a type are the core component of an anti-lock vehicle brake system, of a drive slip vehicle brake system or of a vehicle brake system which regulates driving stability. The invention proposes a particularly advantageous arrangement of the required recesses in a housing block of a hydraulic unit. On account of the arrangement, the housing block can be reduced in terms of its dimensions, and can be produced with a lower weight and more simply in terms of production. For this purpose, according to the invention, the pressure fluid connection from one of the ports of the master brake cylinder to the suction side of one of the pump elements extends through the valve receptacle of the switching valve.

  • Patent number: 7510163
Abstract: A hydraulic unit is elastically supported by means of elastomer elements, through which bolts pass, on two legs of a mounting bracket that extend perpendicular to one another. The leg of the mounting bracket has recesses, open counter to the mounting direction of the unit, for receiving the elastomer element. With clamping means disposed on the bolt, the elastomer element is axially shortened and pressed against both the recess and side faces, located on either side of the recess, of the leg of the mounting bracket. With the shortened elastomer element, a positive and nonpositive engagement with the leg of the mounting bracket is achieved.
