The seatbelt guide guides the seatbelt and seatbelt tongue from a retracted position to a deployed position within an angular range relative to the seatbelt connection location, whereby the seatbelt and seatbelt tongue may be positioned in the angular range relative to the cushion upper surface in the deployed position. The seatbelt guide may include a recess formed in the seat base and extending from a seatbelt retractor location to the cushion upper surface.
