  • Patent number: 8104518
Abstract: A corrugated hose pipe assembly has a corrugated pipe that is surrounded by an elastomeric high-pressure hose. The ends of the high-pressure hose are grasped and fixed by connectors. The connectors each have a pipe piece (210, 220) which is fitted with a circumferential, radially projecting stationary nipple stop (211, 221) at the axial end thereof facing the corrugated pipe. A hose nipple (310, 320), which is positively mounted on each pipe piece (210, 220), is provided with a radially protruding, circumferential hose stop (311, 321) at the end of the hose nipple (310, 320).

  • Patent number: 7712788
Abstract: A connecting assembly for coolant lines, in particular for motor vehicle air conditioning systems which are operated with CO2, from a first coupling element that can be connected to a first line end piece, and a further air conditioning circuit component. The first coupling element and the air conditioning circuit component are joined by a screw so that the first line end piece and the air conditioning circuit component are connected to one another by means of one bore each and radially extending sealing faces. A sealing ring is arranged between the faces. A space holder is arranged between the first coupling element and the further air conditioning circuit component. The first line end piece has a radially extending sealing face which is produced by plastic deformation of the line end piece without removing material. The first coupling element has an annular collar which presses the sealing face onto the sealing ring in the mounted state.

  • Publication number: 20090206596
Abstract: A sealing arrangement for a coupling for refrigerant lines comprises a first coupling piece, which is connected sealingly to a first line end piece, and a second coupling piece which is connected sealingly to a second line end piece. In the sealing arrangement, a sealing ring is held on the sealing face of one of the two coupling pieces by a holding device which is configured as a plastic cap having a through hole. The plastic cap has at least one predetermined breaking location (26) which is configured as a groove which reduces the material thickness of the plastic cap in such a way that the material integrity at the predetermined breaking location (26) is maintained during assembly and breaks apart during disassembly.

  • Patent number: 6893052
Abstract: A connecting arrangement for coolant lines includes a first coupling piece, connected seal-tight to a first line endpiece, and a second coupling piece, connected seal-tight to a second line endpiece. The coupling pieces each have radially extending sealing surfaces on the side facing toward the other coupling piece. A sealing ring is mounted between the sealing surfaces. The coupling pieces are joined to each other via a screw arranged laterally offset from the sealing surfaces so the line endpieces connect to each other via respective bores in the coupling pieces. A form body between the coupling pieces arranged at a spacing from the screw on the side facing away from the sealing surfaces is configured so a lever action occurs when the coupling pieces are joined to each other leading to a uniform pressing together of the sealing ring between the sealing surfaces of the coupling pieces.

  • Publication number: 20040155456
Abstract: The invention relates to a connecting arrangement (1) for coolant lines (2) and especially for motor vehicle climate control systems operated with CO2. The connecting arrangement (1) includes a first coupling piece (4) connected seal-tight to a first line endpiece (3) and a second coupling piece (6) connected seal-tight to a second line endpiece (5). Both coupling pieces (4, 6) are joined to each other via an attachment device in such a manner that the line endpieces (3, 5) are connected to each other via respective bores (16) in the coupling pieces (4, 6). For this purpose, the two coupling pieces (4, 6) each have a radially extending sealing surface (8, 9) on the side facing toward the other coupling piece (6, 4). A sealing ring (10) is mounted between the sealing surfaces (8, 9). Only a single screw (11) is provided as attachment device and is arranged laterally offset from the sealing surfaces (8, 9).
