Publication number: 20240185238Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for the direct sharing and use of transaction data separately from transaction authorization processes. Transaction metadata associated with a transaction may be received and validated. Authorization information corresponding to the transaction may be received. The degree to which the transaction metadata is tested may be based on a predicted time of receipt of the authorization information. The transaction metadata and authorization information may be correlated. A computing device may determine whether to authorize the financial transaction based on the authorization information and the correlated transaction metadata. All or portions of the transaction metadata may be provided to one or more users after the transaction has been authorized or denied.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2024Publication date: June 6, 2024Inventors: Wesley Perkins, Venkata Satya Sriram Kalyan Namuduri, David Ross, Andrew Coulson, Hunter Roberts

Publication number: 20240185659Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for identifying a user based on the classification of user movement data. An identity verification system receives a sequence of motion data from a mobile device operated by a target user. From the sequences of motion data, the identity verification system identifies a plurality of identity blocks representing different movements performed by the target user and encodes a set of signature sequences from each identity block into a feature vector. Each feature vector is input to a confidence model to output an identity confidence value for an identity block. An identity confidence value describes a confidence that the movement in the identity block was performed by the target user. The identity confidence value is compared to an operational security threshold and if identity confidence value is above the threshold, the target user is granted access to an operational context.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 9, 2023Publication date: June 6, 2024Inventors: Lucas Allen Budman, Amitabh Agrawal, Andrew Weber Spott, Michael Ross Graf

Patent number: 12002076Abstract: Techniques are described for generating transaction data for a transaction, the transaction data generated with varying fidelity levels based on various constraints. In response to a transaction request from a client, a contract engine may perform service call(s) that instruct network service(s) to generate transaction data. The service call(s) may include constraint(s) on the generation of the transaction data, such as a time limit or a requested fidelity. The network service(s) may generate the transaction data at a particular fidelity based on the time limit, requested fidelity, or other criteria such as current load on the network service(s). The transaction data may be communicated to the contract engine with a fidelity indicator. Lower fidelity transaction data may be sent to the client to enable a low latency user experience. The lower fidelity transaction data may subsequently be replaced with higher fidelity transaction data generated with higher latency.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2015Date of Patent: June 4, 2024Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Andrew Ross Evenson, Onkar Bhaskar Walavalkar

Patent number: 11960464Abstract: A materialization configuration request is received via a programmatic interface from a client of a journal-based multi-data-store database. The request indicates a partitioning rule to be used to select, for respective writes indicated in committed transaction entries of a journal, the materialization node at which the writes are to be stored. A control plane component of the database verifies that a set of materialization nodes corresponding to the partitioning rule has been established, and initiates the propagation of writes from the journal to the materialization nodes by respective write appliers.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2018Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Timothy Daniel Cole, John Michael Morkel, Tate Andrew Certain, Christopher Richard Jacques de Kadt, Artem Danilov, Andrew Wayne Ross, Allan Henry Vermeulen

Patent number: 11941096Abstract: A system is disclosed for identifying a user based on the classification of user characteristic data. An identity verification system receives a request from a requesting target user for access to an operational context and characteristic data describing actions of the requesting target user. The identity verification system inputs the characteristic data to an identity confidence model to determine an identity confidence value describes a likelihood that an identity of the requesting target user matches an authenticating identity and determines a false match rate and false non-match rate, which represent a performance of the identity confidence model. The identity verification system determines a match probability for the requesting target user by adjusting the identity confidence value based on the determined false match rate and false non-match rate and grants the requesting target user access to the operational context if match probability is greater than the operational security threshold.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2021Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: TruU, Inc.Inventors: Lucas Allen Budman, Amitabh Agrawal, Andrew Weber Spott, Michael Ross Graf
