  • Patent number: 11165250
Abstract: A system for conditioning electric power supplied from a three-phase alternating current electric power supply, including three phase lines, to a load, including the phase lines and an electric ground line, includes a plurality of first surge arresters, a plurality of second surge arresters, a plurality of third surge arresters, a three-phase surge suppressor, and a plurality of capacitors. The surge arresters minimize the amount by which the voltage between two phases and the ground line exceeds a rated value. The three-phase surge suppressor minimizes the amount by which the voltage between any of the three phases and the ground line exceeds a rated value. The capacitors minimize the amount by which the voltage between two phases falls below a rated value.

  • Patent number: 6462961
Abstract: Presented is a component housing assembly having universal mounting capability provided by a universal mounting bracket and a housing having a plurality of mounting holes to accommodate the attachment of the bracket in multiple configurations. Specifically, the component housing is sized to fit within a standard 19-inch rack-mount cabinet. The universal mounting bracket includes a first and a second portion in a perpendicular relationship, each having a length suitable for mounting the housing in multiple mounting configurations. In a 19-inch mounting configuration, the longer of the first and second portions of the mounting bracket is secured to the sides of the housing, allowing the shorter portion to meet with the mounting rails on the rack-mount cabinet.

  • Patent number: 5232240
Abstract: A towing hitch includes a frame having a forward portion selectively connected to the receiver hitch of a towing vehicle, and a rearward portion having a pair of elongated bars pivotally connected thereto for removable connection to a vehicle to be towed. Each bar has a pivot arm connected to the rearward end thereof, said pivot arms and bars all pivotal within a single plane, so that the pivot arms may be folded into a storage position adjacent and parallel the bars. Selective locking apparatus permits the pivot arms to be extended to a towing position aligned with the bars and locked in the towing position. The bars are pivotally connected to a pivot block which is pivotally mounted to the forward portion of the frame, so as to permit the pivot block, and attached bars and arms to pivot from a generally horizontal position to a generally vertical storage position.

  • Patent number: 5000473
Abstract: A collapsible towing hitch includes a base member which is pivotally mounted to the front bumper or frame or a vehicle so as to rotate from an operable position to a storage position. A pair of spring-loaded latch pins are mounted on the base member and correspond with apertures in a pair of yoke brackets and in a pair of base member mounting brackets so as to selectively lock the base member in the storage position. A pivotal arm is mounted at each end of the base member to pivot in a generally horizontal plane when the base member is in the operating position. An elongatged bar is pivotally connected to the free end of each pivotal arm, and each bar is mounted at its free end to a ball hitch housing. The pivotal connection between the elongated bars and the pivotal arms is automatically locked in an aligned condition utilizing a slidable plate on the pivotal arms which is selectively retained by a pair of hooks on the elongaged bars.
