  • Publication number: 20240148273
Abstract: A method for evaluating for the presence of the COVID disease by detecting one or more biomarkers using a breathalyzer. The breath sample taken from the subject is passed over a sensor which changes resistance in the presence of nitric oxide as a function of concentration. The resistance pattern of the subject having the COVID disease will have a distinct shape, approximating the appearance of the small Greek letter omega (?). Test results can be generated in less than a minute.

  • Publication number: 20240007467
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for securely verifying an identity of a user of a client device based on a signal transmitted by the client device. For example, systems disclosed herein include registering a client device and facility device via a cloud computing system to enable the client device and facility device to securely communicate a signal via a wireless connection. The systems disclosed herein additionally include determining whether a trigger condition applies based on a position of the client device relative to the facility device. The systems disclosed herein further include maintaining and updating a subset of user verification information to include personal verification of a registered user of the client device. Using the subset of user verification information, a biometric scanning device may efficiently and accurately verify an identity of an individual associated with the client device.

  • Publication number: 20230415804
Abstract: A seat adapter removably mounts a child seat to a wagon having two opposing walls and an interposed connecting wall, and includes two latch components that mount to the wagon's opposing walls. In some embodiments, the seat adapter includes a cross-member extending between the latch components so that the cross-member provides structural integrity to the wagon if the connecting wall is displaced from its upright use position. In some embodiments, the seat adapter and the child seat can be mounted to the wagon for use with the connecting wall in its upright use position, and in some embodiments the seat adapter and the child seat can be mounted to the wagon for use whether the connecting wall is in its upright use position or its displaced position, with no mechanical interference between any part of the wagon and any part of the adapter or the child seat mounted to it.

  • Patent number: 11844604
Abstract: A method for evaluating for the presence of the COVID disease by detecting one or more biomarkers using a breathalyzer (138). The breath sample (2) taken from the subject (10) is passed over a sensor (140) which changes resistance in the presence of nitric oxide as a function of concentration. The resistance pattern of the subject (10) having the COVID disease will have a distinct shape, approximating the appearance of the small Greek letter omega (?). Test results can be generated in less than a minute.

  • Patent number: 11312246
Abstract: Controlled clutchless shifting of multi-ratio geared electronic shift transmissions coupled directly to the electrical prime mover of a vehicle are disclosed. The adaptive control of electrically shifted manual transmissions incorporated into power-split series electric hybrid heavy vehicles operating over heavy duty drive cycles utilizes a direct coupling assembly that enables bi-directional energy transfer and power transport. An electronic shift transmission provides power amplifying or de-amplifying bi-directional intelligently controlled valve or pathway for available terrain potential or kinetic energy of a rolling mass of a vehicle, while retaining the original function of a transmission by increasing or decreasing mechanical rotating energy of the propulsion power to the rear wheels of a vehicle.
