  • Publication number: 20230062392
Abstract: A control system of an agricultural harvester for controllably harvesting a crop material includes: a lidar sensor configured for sensing a field condition in a forward path of travel of the agricultural harvester and thereby for outputting a field condition signal corresponding thereto; and a controller operatively coupled with the lidar sensor and a header assembly of the agricultural harvester configured for removing the crop material from a field, the controller configured for receiving the field condition signal and for outputting an adjustment signal to raise the header assembly, based at least partially on the field condition signal, when the agricultural harvester reaches an end of a plurality of crop rows.

  • Patent number: 11544425
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that expedite the design of physical components through the use of iterative and computationally efficient virtual simulations. In particular, the systems and methods of the present disclosure can be used as part of an iterative design process in which a product designer is able to iteratively make changes to a component design by iteratively interacting a visualization of a virtual representation of the component within a virtual environment.

  • Publication number: 20210055417
Abstract: In one aspect, a method for generating agricultural treatment prescriptions includes generating a pre-emergence field contour map for a field based on pre-emergence aerial data collected for the field, the pre-emergence field contour map being indicative of the ground surface topology of the field in a pre-emergence condition. The method also includes generating a post-emergence field contour map for the field based on post-emergence aerial data collected for the field, the post-emergence field contour map being indicative of a field topology of the field following plant emergence. In addition, the method includes identifying individual plant heights of the plants based at least in part on a comparison between the pre-emergence field contour map and the post-emergence field contour map, and determining a treatment prescription for applying one or more agricultural products to the field based at least in part on the individual plant heights.
