  • Publication number: 20240115793
Abstract: A vacuum therapy device for treatment of a defect internal of a human or animal body, the device comprising: a porous medium for treatment of the defect; a catheter having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the catheter is configured to be inserted into the body to enable deployment of the porous medium through an opening at the distal end for treatment of the defect; and a suction element within the catheter, the suction element comprising a suction tube connected to the porous medium to provide suction thereat; wherein the porous medium is movable between: (i) a proximal position in which a majority of the porous medium is inside the catheter for insertion of the catheter and the porous medium into the body, and (ii) a distal position in which a portion of the porous medium is located outside the catheter for treatment of the defect; wherein a cross-section of the shape of the porous medium includes one or more spokes extending radially outward, wherein two adjacent spokes are separated by a separatio

  • Patent number: 11261472
Abstract: A peptide sequence of a guide protein for the production of a peptide of interest; a peptide sequence that has a similarity of at least 90% to SEQ. ID. NO 1; a nucleotide sequence encoding the guide protein; an expression vector comprising the nucleotide sequence; a host cell that expresses a fusion protein comprising a peptide of interest; a method of production of a peptide of interest, comprising the steps of A) constructing an expression vector; B) inserting the expression vector into a host cell; C) expressing the fusion protein, culturing the host cell in a culture medium; D) recovering the accumulated fusion protein in the host cell; E) cleaving the fusion protein; F) purifying the peptide of interest.

  • Patent number: 8322005
Abstract: A weather strip installation device for mechanically installing weather strip along the opening of a vehicle door is disclosed. The device includes a frame outlining said opening, and a plurality of contact pads enclosing the frame. A selectively movable unit is disposed between the frame and the contact pads, wherein the selectively movable unit is operable to push each of the contact pads outwardly from the frame. In the first preferred embodiment the movable unit is a plurality of expandable bladders disposed between the contact pads and the peripheral edge of the frame. In the second preferred embodiment, the movable unit is an extensible arm rotatably attached to the frame. The extensible arm includes a roller disposed between the frame and contact pads that presses against the contact pads thereby installing the weather strip along the opening of the door as the extensible arm rotates about the frame.
