  • Publication number: 20240018077
Abstract: The conversion of nootkatol to nootkatene in a terpene blend is mitigated or prevented by substantially or completely separating the nootkatols such as a-nootkatol from compounds present in the terpene blend that catalyze the chemical reaction of nootkatol to nootkatene, and/or by at least partially neutralizing the compounds present in the terpene blend that catalyze the chemical reaction of nootkatol to nootkatene. Methods of preparing terpene blends, terpene blends, flavour compositions containing the terpene blends, beverages and foodstuffs containing the flavour compositions, fragrance compositions containing the terpene blends, and fragranced products containing the fragrance composition are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20210167585
Abstract: A unitary fastener and cable guidance device is operable with a pulley block assembly for stringing cable across towers. The device guides a cable onto a sheave wheel of the assembly, while fastening directly to the assembly through a unitary cantilevered axle. The one-piece design comprises a pair of discs forming an annular depression there between, and a cantilevered axle extending from the outer side of one disc. This unitary configuration reduces the number of fasteners and other components. Since the cantilevered axle is the fastening mechanism, rather than a separate fastener passing through a hole through the center of the device, the minimum outer diameter of the annular depression can be smaller than the outer diameter of the cantilevered axle, allowing the central portion of the device to be smaller and thus its sides to be higher, which helps hold the cable more robustly within the device.

  • Publication number: 20210000819
Abstract: The present invention relates to a solid pharmaceutical dosage form for abusable drug delivery with reduced illicit abuse potential. The dosage form is presented as a bioerodable transmucosal delivery device that includes an abusable drug and an antagonist to the abusable drug associated with an abuse-resistant matrix. The devices of the invention may be in the form of a layered film or a tablet. Upon application in a non-abusive manner, the device adheres to the mucosal surface, providing transmucosal drug delivery of the drug with minimal absorption of the antagonist into systemic circulation.
