Publication number: 20230352921Abstract: A system and method for connecting a high voltage wiring harness assembly to a vehicle. The system includes a tubing configured to provide an enclosure for the high voltage wiring harness assembly. The material used to form the tubing includes polytetrafluoroethylene to protect the high voltage wiring harness assembly from abrasion and to insulate the high voltage wiring harness assembly from substantial temperature fluctuations. The system may include an adapter plate configured to provide a mechanical and electrical grounding connection to the vehicle. The system may include a coupling assembly configured to couple the tubing and the adapter plate. The coupling provides a water tight seal between the tubing and the adapter plate. The high voltage wiring harness assembly includes a grounding braid. The coupling assembly is further configured to couple the grounding braid to the adapter plate for completing an electrical circuit between the grounding braid and the vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 29, 2022Publication date: November 2, 2023Applicant: Electrical Components International , Inc.Inventors: Andrew Frame, Billy T. Patent number: 10469556Abstract: An exemplary VoIP service provides call participants cues to indicate that an enhanced service is being employed. When calling, the standard dial tone may be replaced with a distinctive dial tone or sound that indicates to the call participant that enhanced service is active (e.g., a service active sound). In some embodiments, the person called by the VoIP user hears a viral sound that indicates that an enhanced telephone service is being used. Furthermore, communication audio cues may be provided during the communication to provide further information to the call participants.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 2008Date of Patent: November 5, 2019Assignee: Ooma, Inc.Inventors: Andrew Frame, Dennis Peng, Kelvin Cheung, Jeff Peck, Toby Farrand

Publication number: 20110270701Abstract: In one embodiment, active recent bidders in a bidding fee auction are displayed in a region of a graphical bidder interface. Each bidder in the set of active recent bidders is displayed in a single graphical bidder element, or avatar, in the region. In response to receiving an event, an activity level and a recency measure for each bidder in the bidding fee auction are generated. Bidders are removed or added to the set of active recent bidders based on the activity levels and recency measures of the bidders. Avatars corresponding to the bidders are added or removed from the region.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 24, 2010Publication date: November 3, 2011Inventors: Benjamin Joseph Black, Maxwell Robert Newbould, Andrew Frame, Babe Elliott Baker

Publication number: 20060007915Abstract: A decentralized architecture allows a plain old telephone system (POTS) line to be shared for use. Routing logic is handled by a voice over Internet protocol (VOIP) control system and by logic in an initiating analog telephone adapter (ATA). A destination ATA is selected based upon the phone number of a destination phone. Routing information for a destination ATA is communicated to the initiating ATA, and the initiating ATA communicates a media stream to the destination ATA. The system and method enables lower cost routing than currently available, relieves a caller at an initiating phone from having to select whether to use VOIP or the PSTN, and relieves the caller from dialing special phone numbers.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 9, 2004Publication date: January 12, 2006Inventor: Andrew Frame
