  • Patent number: 11989182
Abstract: A data analysis system for measuring a materiality feature of interest is disclosed. The system includes a computing cluster ingesting content comprising a plurality of observables relevant to an entity, wherein each observable is related to at least one feature of interest. The system further includes an extraction engine running on the computing cluster and tagging the observables with an entity identifier in response to the observables referencing at least one of an entity, a tradename associated with the entity, or product associated with the entity. Additionally, the system includes an analysis engine running on the computing cluster and tagging an observable in response to the feature of interest being related to the observable. In one embedment, the analysis engine measures the materiality of the feature of interest to the entity by counting a number of observables from the plurality of observables tagged with the entity identifier.

  • Publication number: 20240102525
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to extend brake life cycle are disclosed herein. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes machine readable instructions and processor circuitry to at least one of instantiate or execute the machine readable instructions to activate a brake motor of a brake of a vehicle to cause contact between a brake pad of the brake and a rotor of the brake, compare a power output of the brake motor of the brake to a threshold, and determine a material degradation level of the brake pad based on the comparison of the power output to the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20220240767
Abstract: A medical device inspection system includes a console and a flexible imaging scope. The console includes a housing, a video processor, a light source, a visual display on the housing, and an outlet with two ports. The flexible imaging scope is removably connected to the console via the outlet and includes a CMOS image sensor, an optical fiber bundle, and a connector assembly mounted to a proximal end of the imaging scope. The connector assembly includes an electrical image connector and a light source connector, which plug into the two ports of the outlet to connect the flexible imaging scope to the console.

  • Publication number: 20200323356
Abstract: A mattress interior is provided that includes an outer framework made of a self-supporting, resilient material, and an air compartment made of a flexible, substantially airtight material, having an internal cavity which can be inflated and deflated. The air compartment is secured within the outer framework by being connected to the outer framework, and/or elements of the outer framework being connected to each other. An air mattress is also provided that includes the mattress interior, and a cover. A method of manufacturing a mattress is additionally provided that includes constructing the outer framework, inflating one or more air compartments, assembling the mattress by securing the air compartments within the outer framework to make a mattress interior and fitting the mattress interior with a cover, deflating the one or more air compartments, and packing the mattress into a smaller volume.

  • Publication number: 20080110981
Abstract: Methods and systems for preventing fraudulent acquisition of private transaction information associated with customer input at a fuel dispenser are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a fuel dispenser includes a hose and nozzle combination that receives fuel to dispense to the customer's vehicle. The fuel dispenser includes a user interface having a display and a virtual keypad that is adapted to receive customer input associated with a transaction at the fuel dispenser. The fuel dispenser also includes a control system coupled to the user interface and adapted to determine when customer input is required for the transaction, activate the virtual keypad to facilitate entry of the customer input, receive the customer input from the virtual keypad, deactivate the virtual keypad after the customer input is received, and process the transaction based upon the received customer input.
