  • Patent number: 11995691
Abstract: Among other things, advertisements are received for brands or products of brands. Criteria for placement of the advertisements are received at online retail sites. The online retail sites are controlled independently from one another. Inventory data for the products at the online retail sites is received and stored. Data about propensities of the consumers to favor one or more of the brands or one or more products of the brands, from activities of consumers on the online retail sites, is stored. Activity data about current activities of the consumers on the online retail sites is received. One or more of the advertisements are placed on pages served to the online retail sites based on the placement data, the inventory data, the propensity data, and the activity data. Conversion data is received indicating that consumers engaged in conversion events with respect to products associated with the brands or products of brands being advertised.

  • Patent number: 11989178
Abstract: Techniques support graph pattern matching queries inside a relational database management system (RDBMS) that supports SQL execution. The techniques compile a graph pattern matching query into a SQL query that can then be executed by the relational engine. As a result, techniques enable execution of graph pattern matching queries on top of the relational engine by avoiding any change in the existing SQL engine.

  • Patent number: 11980329
Abstract: An autonomous floor cleaning robot includes a body, a controller supported by the body, a drive supporting the body to maneuver the robot across a floor surface in response to commands from the controller, and a pad holder attached to an underside of the body to hold a removable cleaning pad during operation of the robot. The pad includes a mounting plate and a mounting surface. The mounting plate is attached to the mounting surface. The robot includes a pad sensor to sense a feature on the pad and to generate a signal based on the feature, which is defined in part by a cutout on the card backing. The mounting plate enables the pad sensor to detect the feature. The controller is responsive to the signal to perform operations including selecting a cleaning mode based on the signal, and controlling the robot according to a selected cleaning mode.

  • Publication number: 20240126764
Abstract: Techniques support graph pattern matching queries inside a relational database management system (RDBMS) that supports SQL execution. The techniques compile a graph pattern matching query that includes a bounded recursive pattern query into a SQL query that can then be executed by the relational engine. As a result, techniques enable execution of graph pattern matching queries that include bounded recursive patterns on top of the relational engine by avoiding any change in the existing SQL engine.

  • Patent number: 11921785
Abstract: Techniques described herein allow a user of an RDBMS to specify a graph algorithm function (GAF) declaration, which defines a graph algorithm that takes a graph object as input and returns a logical graph object as output. A database dictionary stores the GAF declaration, which allows addition of GAFs without changing the RDBMS kernel. GAFs are used within graph queries to compute output properties of property graph objects. Output properties are accessible in the enclosing graph pattern matching query, and are live for the duration of the query cursor execution. According to various embodiments, the declaration of a GAF includes a DESCRIBE function, used for semantic analysis of the GAF, and an EXECUTE function, which defines the operations performed by the GAF. Furthermore, composition of GAFs in a graph query is done by supplying, as the input graph argument of an outer GAF, the result of an inner GAF.
