  • Publication number: 20210213337
Abstract: A basketball goal assembly has an outer support pole extending vertically upward from a base. An inner pole is telescopically arranged within the outer support pole. A basketball backboard assembly having a backboard and a rim extends from an upper end of the inner pole. A series of tracking blocks are secured to the inner pole. Each tracking block protrudes from the inner pole to bear against an inner surface of the outer support pole. The blocks rigidly hold the inner pole at a spaced lateral distance from the outer support pole while allowing the inner pole to travel vertically relative to the outer support pole. An actuator is operable to telescopically raise and lower the inner pole relative to the outer pole.

  • Patent number: 10845202
Abstract: An autonomous vehicle may access portions of a map to maneuver a roadway. The map may be split into one or more levels that represent different regions in space. For example, an overpass may be represented by one level while the road below the overpass may be on a separate level. A vehicle traveling on a particular level may use map data that is associated with that level. Furthermore, if the vehicle travels through a warp zone, it may transition from the current level to a destination level and thus begin to use map data associated with the destination level.

  • Patent number: 10758390
Abstract: A joint for a rehabilitation device and a rehabilitation device are disclosed. The joint is defined for operation between an end of a first member and an end of a second member. The joint enables the second member to pivot at the joint with respect to the first member. The joint includes a positioning mechanism for defining a set position from which the second member pivots. The joint also includes a restriction mechanism for restricting the degree of pivoting of the second member, from the set position. The joint further includes a biasing mechanism for biasing the second member such that it returns to the set position when an opposing force applied to the second member is less than the bias of the biasing mechanism. When the joint is in the set position, the biasing mechanism is configured such that no bias is applied to the second member.
