Abstract: An electronic case file and document management system (1) stored on a server (13) having one or more remote terminals (14) coupled thereto, the case file and document management system comprising: a content and process application (2), a case management application (6), an email application (9) and a mail integration application (8), wherein the content and process application is operable to provide an electronic case file function (3) for storing and facilitating the display of electronic documentation relating to one or more cases, and a task management function (5) for creating and displaying data relating to tasks for the one or more cases, the remote terminals being arranged to access the electronic case file function, the task management function, the email application and the case management application for operation of the electronic case file and document management system.
