  • Publication number: 20080170575
Abstract: An information-based system for controlling the display of digital content dependent upon a state-based controller comprised of status and intelligent-assistant logic. In an exemplary embodiment, the system programmatically integrates distributed automata theory processing for alternative, yet interrelated, states of control within a digital content display system. The state-based system provides a number of functional features, including but not limited to, distributed intelligent-assistant control for content packetization and encapsulation; intelligent state-based caching for predictive content distribution; programmatic control of state-based automata for intelligent caching modules; flowthrough administrative control; and multiphasic user experience presentation modules.

  • Publication number: 20070263870
Abstract: Aan activation system for secure communication technology. In one embodiment, modular processing elements for account creation, account activation, software packaging, software activation, and software processing function independently. An integration module synthesizes activation and authentication for the account and software. Account activation and software activation are de-coupled, while providing an integration module for activation authentication, resulting in an activation system for maintaining the security of digital content handling within digital communication channels.

  • Publication number: 20070199077
Abstract: A secure communication system comprising a data transmission system for transmitting content, and a security system integrated with the data transmission system. The security system defaults to lock-out mode, so that any user of the data transmission system must first request access and no access is granted without the request being authenticated. The content may be encrypted or encapsulated, or both. Tracking and reporting functionality is provided. Content can include messages, videos, music, email, and other forms of data. In one embodiment, content transmitted to a content-receiver can be stored by the content-receiver and accessed at a later time.

  • Publication number: 20070195958
Abstract: An extensible, closed-loop secure system with integrated feedback. One particular embodiment comprises a closed-loop security system with secured closed-loop endpoints, secure ring of connectivity, and secure program logic. The closed loop security system transports encapsulated security packets among secure closed-loop endpoints, through an interconnectivity pipeline, with secure control flow managed by a distribution ring and a secure control core.

  • Publication number: 20040186788
Abstract: A commodity goods usage tracking and replenishment apparatus, in which a central server has a database of consumer profiles identifying consumers and commodity goods for usage tracking and replenishment. A messaging transceiver receives and transmits messages to the central server and is selectively operated by the central server and by the consumer. An evaluator periodically determines from the use information a remaining inventory amount of the commodity goods. Upon determining that a low inventory may exist, a re-order reminder message is communicated to the messaging transceiver of the consumer, who responds with a confirmation to purchase and receive the goods. A method of tracking and replenishing commodity goods is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6791541
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing three-dimensional images of one or more objects. The apparatus includes a base substrate, an image layer on said substrate, and a lenticular material superposed on the image layer. The image layer is provided by an imaging tool configured for depositing pixels on the substrate from contour corrected pixel data such that the deposited pixels have a structural contour relationship to the one or more objects. The imaging tool manipulates the pixel data to be compatible with the substrate and lenticular material. The method provides substantially improved three-dimensional images and devices containing improved three-dimensional images.

  • Patent number: 6741244
Abstract: A method and apparatus for converting a digital image of one or more objects to interpolated three-dimensional image data for producing substantially realistic three-dimensional images. The method includes providing a digital image file containing digital image pixels, wherein the pixels having a structural contour relationship to the one or more objects. The digital image pixels are converted to contour corrected pixels to provide a contoured image file. An output image file is built from the contoured image file so that the output image file may be projected on an image output device. The method and apparatus provide substantially improved three-dimensional images for viewing on a variety of image output devices.
