  • Patent number: 4976502
Abstract: A cabinet having a door moveable between a closed position, an open and partially pocketed position, and an open and fully pocketed position. The cabinet further comprises means for aligning the door relative to the cabinet side wall prior to moving the door into the cabinet.

  • Patent number: 4650143
Abstract: An adjustable support (10) for a tabletop (12) includes a base (14), a leg tube (16) rotatably mounted to the base (14), an adjustment tube (18) connected to the leg tube (16) and a spider (20) mounted to and between the adjustment tube (18) and the tabletop (12). A top cap (42) fixedly mounted to the leg tube (16) threadably engages the inside upper wall (56) of the adjustment tube (16) and is rigidly attached to a tension rod (48) secured to and between the base (14) and the top cap (42). In this manner, rotation of the leg tube (16) adjusts the height of the leg tube (16) relative to the adjustment tube (18) to adjust the tabletop (12) to the height desired relative to the floor.

  • Patent number: 4619208
Abstract: A mechanism for adjusting the height of a work surface (12) includes left- and right-side cable lift mechanisms (16, 18) coupled to a central drive mechanism (20) through cables (96). Each cable lift mechanism (16, 18) includes a hanger clip (22) engaging wall panel slots (15), a mounting plate (38) removably suspended from the hanger clip (22) and a vertically movable extrusion (74) guided along the plate (38) and having pulleys (88) engaging one of the cables (96) to support the work surface (12). Antidislodgment latches (50, 60) prevent accidental dislodgment of the mounting plate (38) and clip (22). One embodiment of the central drive mechanism (20) includes a motor-driven screw (134) and a forward slide block (114) positioned within an elongated channel (110) and mounting a slidable yoke (122) securing ends of the cables (96). The slide block (114) bears against a nut (146) captured within the channel (110) and threadably received on the screw (134).

  • Patent number: 4515087
Abstract: A table (10) includes telescoping legs (14, 16), each of which has a stationary member (18, 114) and a sliding member (102) which are adapted for vertical travel relative to each other. A work surface (20) is mounted for vertical travel with the sliding members (102). The table (10) includes a height adjustment means including a drive mechanism (70) which causes the sliding leg member (102) to move vertically relative to the stationary leg member (18, 114). Supported on the frame and operatively connected between the drive mechanism (70) and sliding leg member (102) are levers (82). The levers (82) are pivotably mounted to a skirt (26) for rotation about the center portions thereof and rotate through a selected arc when the drive mechanism (70) is actuated. Rotation of the levers (82) by the drive mechanism (70) causes the sliding members (102) of the legs (14, 16) to be displaced vertically and carry with it the work surface ( 20).
