  • Patent number: 11275626
Abstract: The existence of a relationship between an author of content available on a social network application and an enterprise is determined from social network content to mitigate enterprise safety and security concerns. Content available on a social network application is monitored. The existence of a relationship is determined from the content available on the social network application. A description of the relationship between an author and the enterprise that was determined is stored. When content available on the social network application meets a threat criteria, a database may be queried for a relationship between the enterprise and the author of the content that meets the threat criteria. If the relationship is found, the content meeting the threat criteria and the description of the relationship may be reported to the enterprise. Alternatively, when content available on the social network application meets the threat criteria, a process of identifying a relationship may be initiated.

  • Publication number: 20190073734
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are provided for a threat alert system for identifying safety and security concerns from social media content. The threat alert system receives a search term and combines it with another term from a library. Social media content is searched for the search term and the library term to identify content that includes safety and security concerns based on the search term and the library term. The library term aids in constraining the search of social media to identify content that includes safety and security concerns, rather than other benign information. Determination of an existence of a relationship between an author of the identified social media content results and an enterprise triggers generation and transmission of an alert to a device associated with the enterprise, the alert including the social media content results. Some embodiments opportunistically pattern match content in social media posts against a library of terms identify safety and security threats.

  • Publication number: 20190065532
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments provide methods and systems for identifying safety and security threat concerns and safety and wellness climate concerns from social media content. Social media content is searched based identify threatening content and safety and wellness climate concerns relevant to an enterprise, rather than benign user information. Identification of enterprise-relevant threatening content triggers generation and transmission of a threat alert to a device associated with the enterprise. Identification of enterprise-relevant safety and wellness climate concerns in social media content causes information regarding the results to be aggregated and analyzed, with the results of the analysis and aggregation presented to a user via a graphical user interface (e.g., to view results over time).

  • Patent number: 6719048
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the separation of the water from the oil/gas in the well itself, down-hole, in which gravity is allowed to work on the mixture in a non-vertical section of the well, and then, using separated flow paths, the gravity-separated components pumped to the surface or into a subterranean discharge zone. Detectors are used to control the pumping so as to keep the unsettled/unseparated mixture away from the flow paths. Preferably the discharge zone is chosen to have a formation pressure which is lower than the pressure of the producing zone.

  • Patent number: 6070125
Abstract: A computer-based apparatus for creating subsurface models having a graphical display device, a user input device, means for selecting a region of the world to be modeled; means for providing geophysical and geographical data corresponding to the selected region of the world; means for providing an archive of known geological structures; and means for providing an interface which permits a user to create a subsurface model of the identified region. The invention further involves related computer-based apparatuses for interactive creation of geological subsurface models, for managing geological hypotheses, and for providing information for creation of a geological model.

  • Patent number: 6035255
Abstract: An article of manufacture for use in connection with a computer, said article of manufacture comprising a computer-readable storage medium having a program recorded thereon that enables a user of a computer executing said program to interactively: display data obtained from a subsurface area; select an object from a plurality of different three-dimensional objects; place the selected three-dimensional object within a model of the subsurface area; and transform the selected three-dimensional object to better fit the data obtained from the subsurface area. The invention further involves related methods for interactive creation of a subsurface model.
