The diaphragms are operatively coupled to the backing plate and each of the diaphragms is clamped between the valve body and the bonnet proximate a peripheral edge of the diaphragm.

The valve stem has a pathway to allow fluid from an inlet of the fluid flow passageway to flow across the flow control member between a first side of the flow control member and a second side of the flow control member opposite the first side to pressure-balance the fluid flow control member.
