Abstract: A vehicle configuration system includes a controller configured to extract anthropometric information from data defining a vehicle identification number (VIN) for a first vehicle and a customer profile for the first vehicle, and responsive to receiving another VIN for a second vehicle, generate commands such that relative positions of cockpit elements of the second vehicle are adjusted based on the anthropometric information.

Abstract: An aerial light projection system is provided for locating a motor vehicle. That system includes a light projector configured to project a light beam above the motor vehicle, a transmitting device for transmitting an operator identification signal specific to the motor vehicle, and a controller configured to activate the light projector when an operator of the motor vehicle is within a predetermined proximity of the motor vehicle as indicated by receipt of the operator identification signal specific to the motor vehicle. A related method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A carbon monoxide detection system is provided for a motor vehicle. That carbon monoxide detection system includes a carbon monoxide detector, a battery-free power circuit for powering the carbon monoxide detector and a control module. The control module is configured to stop an internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle when a concentration of carbon monoxide detected by the carbon monoxide detector over a set period of time exceeds a predetermined level.
