  • Patent number: 11937660
Abstract: Various face shield assemblies for hard hats are described. In one embodiment, the face shield assembly includes a hard hat, a mounting bracket, a face shield, a first pivot arm and a second pivot arm. The first pivot arm and second pivot arm are pivotally coupled to the hard hat and rotate with respect to the mounting bracket and the face shield. The face shield is coupled to the first pivot arm and the second pivot arm. The face shield actuates between stowed and operating positions such that the face shield can avoid objects near a front of the hard hat, such as a bill and/or lamp. In other embodiments the face shield assembly includes an adjustable frame coupled to the face shield and the hard hat. The adjustable frame rotates and/or slides with respect to the hard hat.

  • Publication number: 20190188574
Abstract: The example embodiments are directed to a system and method for generating ground truth for determination of algorithm accuracy at scale. In one example, the method includes receiving raw data from at least one data source, performing pre-processing on the raw data, obtaining first information for generating ground truth data by applying a machine learning algorithm to the pre-processed raw data, obtaining second information for generating ground truth data by applying a signal processing algorithm to the pre-processed raw data, generating ground truth data based on matches between the first information and the second information, and determining accuracy of a source algorithm using the generated ground truth data.

  • Publication number: 20140346735
Abstract: A spinning ball game and game apparatus includes a hollow sphere within which a plurality of smaller spheres, such as metal balls, are captivated. The agitation and movement of the sphere causes orbital and randomized motion of the smaller balls within the sphere's interior. Various game play patterns are provided which utilize the manipulation skills of the game player in maintain a predetermined distribution of the small balls orbiting and moving within the sphere interior. The sphere includes a designated zone on the sphere interior surface. Typically, the sphere is held by a player, during game play, such that the zone occupies the lower portion of the sphere.

  • Patent number: 5096582
Abstract: A tangential flow filtration apparatus which utilizes a single manifold to introduce liquid to be filtered into the apparatus and to remove a filtrate stream and a retentate stream from the apparatus is provided. A plurality of filtration members are stacked in a vertical arrangement between the manifold and a plate. Holes and sealing means are provided within the filtration member to effect vertical flow of the filtrate, retentate and incoming liquid through the stack while preventing admixture of the filtrate with the retentate or the incoming liquid.
