  • Patent number: 11941764
Abstract: A computer system displays a representation of a field of view of the one or more cameras, including a representation of a portion of a three-dimensional physical environment that is in the field of view of the one or more cameras. The computer system receives a request to add a first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras. In response to receiving the request to add the first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras and in accordance with a determination that the first virtual effect requires a scan of the physical environment, the computer system initiates a scan of the physical environment to detect one or more features of the physical environment and displays a user interface that indicates a progress of the scan of the physical environment.

  • Publication number: 20130253911
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system are provided for performing a real-time or a near real-time localization of data. The method comprises monitoring an input string and comparing a semantic associated with the input string to a semantic associated with at least one stored string. The method further comprises providing the stored string as an alternative to the input string.

  • Patent number: 5640505
Abstract: A support structure for an operational telecommunications network deploys a set of individual technologies and provides a set of services to customers. The support structure is divided into a set of domains each of which provides a particular management function for the network. These domains include a domain for managing customer handling functions, a domain for managing the network, a domain for managing the individual technologies deployed in the network, a domain for managing instances of the individual services provided by the network, a domain for managing billing operations, a domain for managing the services provided by the network when grouped together to form a portfolio, and a domain for managing jobs performed by the human workforce for the network. Each domain has its own set of databases and systems for performing the required management operations and also interfaces to some of the other domains. Each domain is implemented by one or more tightly integrated computers.

  • Patent number: 5603400
Abstract: The invention comprises a rocker switch which includes a rocker member having an actuating surface, a bottom surface, and a pivot member. A circuit board has a dome switch mounted thereon. A bracket is secured to the circuit board having a pivot guide to receive the pivot member. A elastomeric member is received between the bottom surface of the rocker member and the dome switch. Actuation of the rocker member presses the bottom surface of the rocker member against the elastomeric member which presses against the dome switch thereby activating the switch.

  • Patent number: 4846899
Abstract: A low carbon steel has a composition which is ferritic, martensitic or ferritic: martensitic at temperatures of the order of 700.degree. C. and substantially fully austenitic at temperatures in excess of 1000.degree. C. and nitriding of a refractory stable metal nitride former, e.g. titanium, of the alloy is effected while the alloy is in its substantially fully austenitic state so as to produce a fine and homogeneous dispersion of the nitride and thereby enhance the creep strength of the alloy when in its ferritic, martensitic or ferritic: martensitic state.

  • Patent number: 4582679
Abstract: To increase the creep strength of a titanium-containing alloy which also contains chromium, the alloy powder is heated in the presence of ammonia at a temperature of the order of 700.degree. C. so as to form a layer of chromium nitride(s) on the particles and is then heated further in an inert atmosphere at a temperature between 1000.degree. C. and 1150.degree. C. to dissociate the chromium nitride(s) thereby effecting nitriding of the titanium to titanium nitride which affords dispersion-strengthening of the alloy.
